Imagine the work you will have getting 10 inch grass cleaned up. It will all flop over, not dry out, clog the mower, and take forever to get under control.

Eventually there will be fines for mowing the grass. Power mowers will be heavily taxed. It will become illegal to buy gas for them.

Plus think of all the extra plastic bags and landfill space needed to dispose of clippings when you finally mow. no mulching mower would handle grass that long…
I observe No Mow Forever here in the southern Arizona desert.
Tall grass? Dummmmmb. Tall grass is a home to rodents, snakes and all sorts of insects. During a drought it represents more of a fire hazard. And unless you want to use herbicides, tall grass promotes weed growth and unwanted trees.
The worst thing about it is it identifies a person as a leftist, someone too lazy to do anything at all and not really care about their living standards, just their devices, govt checks and drugs.
We have a small pasture we mow twice a year, when the grass is about 10 - 12 inches high. It’s a bearcat to mow, and the mice running from the mower is entertainment. There are numerous volunteer tree saplings also. And yes, snakes.
I’m all for this, and for much more than one month - I’m good with No Mow Half A Year.

and then you run the mower three times as long to cut the high grass. I had to cut the front twice already. I live a mile or two from springfield. as i have mostly weeds i will be tilling it all up soon. i specifically bought a gas mower, gas power washer, gas weed whacker, gas tiller, and you guessed it, gas chain saw. i think my neighbor bought a battery chain saw. I heard them once try to cut some twigs with it. once, never again.
We really need to reduce emissions from Liberals/DemocRATs/Commies. For The Children, of course.
MOST HOA’s have very strict rules about landscape maintenance.
Gonna start putting out flyers if this takes hold around here - basically, officially looking notices that say that the yard looks like crap. Make it look like its from the city but really isn’t.
Bureaucrats and their stupid ideas. Really good at telling successful, well functioning people what to do with their lawn, toilet or car. Not so good at telling momma to stop letting the kids beat shit out of each other or search their rooms for guns and drugs.
