No doubt all the bots Elon purged from Twitter are now posting to each other on threads.

Sorry, it was dumb for Twitter to require a login to view and put other limits on its service. Horrible time to do it too when a potentially big competitor is just launching. That’s the time you introduce a new feature that people are actually going to like.

I followed the link to the source, then clicked on a link to the data the report was based on.

It listed the 971 government requests - showing the ip address, action taken (YES), and country of origin. Every one of them was from a foreign country like Turkey or Russia - not a single one from the US or any Western European countries.

I don’t see a problem with this. If there were US citizens being censored I would be pissed - but that is not the case.

“Basically, its the Government's website.”

Which goes to show (if true) US citizens are a large group
of nincompoops who TRUST the government to do what's best
for them and their family. The days of trusting government
are long gone. It's no wonder we're dills in the pickle jar
at this stage.

Letting Twitter die would be a good thing. Ruined a lot of lives politically and otherwise.

When you’re banned for life from Twitter “for breaking the rules “ and no further explanation, it’s not surprising their traffic is down. Being conservative is a great crime.

As fake as the Brady’s lawn.

True. Threads has good functionality and less spam.

“Every one of them was from a foreign country like Turkey or Russia - not a single one from the US or any Western European countries.”

I believe the people of France and Germany would consider themselves to be part of Western Europe.

But you are correct, according the the report, there have been no requests by the U.S. federal government to censor.

Yep, unlike the Stupid Party, the ObamaBots respond instantly when they are told to respond.
I am beginning to feel this is why Obama-Holder went full in after Rush passed away.
Rush was really the only one actively organizing the GOP voters.

Why would you want to participate in something that controls what you want to say? Sort of an HOA of the bandwidth. I avoid both Twitter and Threads. I also eschew Farcebook.

I’m going to say false. It seems there is so much manipulation in these counts that they are always fake.

I’m never joined Twitter but would follow links to read the comments on certain topics. Now comments are blocked so you can’t see them unless logged in. I quit going because of that.

I support Musk, so I have no problem with that.

I just never say anything on social media that I would not say in public, or to someone’s face.

Of course their web traffic is down. They cut off a ton of people from viewing it.

I’ve always thought Elon Musk wasted his money on Twitter.
More of a ‘gotchya’ purchase but billionS for a social media platform? Daaaahhhhhhhhhh! Should have let the leftards keep it.
