You are missing NOTHING. Stern's soul never got out of hormone-drenched amoral Junior High. It is a foul, filthy, mean show. I know some of the folks I like best here (unaccountably) like that show, which I do NOT understand, but believe me dear heart, it's NOTHING YOU NEED.

I must have missed it. Details, please.

Howard did an impression of Powell acting very polite and diplomatic when meeting with Arafat in front of others. However, the moment Powell went into a private room with Arafat he turned into a jive talkin' street type who was verbally bitch-slapping Arafat upside his head. It was an HILARIOUS bit. I sure would like to find a sound bite of it.

Lt. Gov. Gray Davis 1998 Speech at Democratic State Convention

"In an exhaustive national study released earlier this year by the publication Education Week, California's public schools rated among the lowest of the low. We rated an "F"—absolute last among all 50 states—in overall school climate.

Last year we got a "D-" in the same category, so we're moving in the wrong direction.

Now, there are some outstanding schools, but in just about every category you can think of, we are still failing to prepare future generations that are literate, articulate and technologically proficient.

And make no mistake, ultimately this will be California's undoing as an economic force.

In short, too many of our public schools are broken, and my first priority as Governor will be to fix them."

GOV. DAVIS -- the current public education grade after 3 1/2 years is still 'F', or is it 'F-'?

"What kind of Governor would I be? Simply put, I would be very responsible with your tax dollars, passionate about education, committed to the environment, strongly pro-choice—and death on violent crime."

YEAH, RIGHT!!!

"But I know two things: First, your vote is not for sale! And second, I offer the voters a wealth of experience money can't buy!"

THOUGH I WILL TRY TO BUY IT. A 'WEALTH' OF BIG BROTHER GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE.

"I assure you that I intend to stand my ground, stand on my record and continue standing up for the principle of our Democratic Party!"

The 'principle of our Democratic Party'??? 'THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS'

"....we will not only win in November, we will together forge a future for California that is every bit as bright as our golden past....."

at four times the cost, half the freedom, and twice the government

LIGHT'S OUT, GOVERNOR!!!

Send that moose down here, and I will meet it halfway.

Can't you see a dead moose on the top of my OJ Simpson Bronco as I try to get home with it.

When stopped, I can tell the Fish & Game guys that it struck one of my salmon/steelhead flies. I decided to kill it so it would not molest any endangered salmon/steelhead/trout/suckerfish/red legged frogs or kangaroo rats! They would probably reward me and help me to fillet it out!

Bye Gov Davis: Failed EDUCATION & ENERGY programs

"The California State University provides remedial courses in English and math to almost half its freshmen since our school system is grossly inadequate in paying teachers, providing supplies and providing an education. This is the bitter legacy of the anti-education program of the Friend-of-Ken-Lay (as in Enron), Gov Gray Davis, and is an excellent reason for not voting for him on November 5, 2002."

Sounds like Whitehouse material to me. Nothing like competition to get the current powers that be to move in the direction of winning techniques. It is mind boggling that Davis holds public office anywhere outside of the old Soviet Union. Maybe Kalifornians will want to see the light, rather than return to the dark ages under gray-out.

The federal budget is $2.2 Trillion. There are 270 million people in America. That equals $8,148 per person. So, each persons fair share is $8,148.

Actually, it's far less than, at least in terms of income tax. Income tax makes up slightly less than half of Federal revenues.

This is no consolation to me, because my family pays more than the $8,000 per person in personal income tax alone. That doesn't begin to include amounts for Social Security, Medicare, and gasoline taxes.

There is a problem with what you posted The California State University provides remedial courses in English and math to almost half its freshmen.

You and I see this as a failure.

The rats see this as more tax paid jobs for more teachers to teach remedial English and math to 50% of the dumbed down kids in Ca State U's.

They still have the same amount of regular professors as before for the real college courses. Now they have had to hire what are really high school English and Math Teachers to teach what should have been taught in high school now in college. I'm sure that most of these "New" professors make more than the average highschool teacher.

The Universities love it, as this means instead of a 4 year program, the dumbed downed kids need 5 to 6 years to get their instant unemployment degrees in women studies and how the blacks have been abused for 20 centuries in America even though America is not 3 centuries old!

"Send that moose down here..."

Unfortunately, quadrupeds of the moose persuasion do not take kindly to 'sending', or indeed, any other suggestion, except, perhaps, "Charge me!" ;^)

I think that if Stern can help Simon win the election in CA, then I say he's worth keeping on the air.
