There's the reason Gray Davis should be denied a second term. Next to him Jimmy Carter looks downright competent. And that's not a compliment to either of the worst political failures the Rats have managed to produce in the past century. Four years ago Davis ran and won in a landslide on the basis of the slogan, "experience money can't buy." Well given what we've seen from our governor in his one term in office that's experience that hasn't been used to put California on a sound footing for the future. The fun's about to begin this summer and look for the budget meltdown mode to set in.

Before. He plans to do it in the meantime by charging everything to a credit card.

Apparently one of his cuts is with the Veterans Homes/Hospitals in Kali. The local one in Yountville is apparently facing tremendous cut. The patients are old and disabled and often seriously ill Californian Veterans. The last place budget cuts should come.

We need to set up a truth squad of planned tax cuts like the California Veterans Homes where they should be the last ones cut.

The good news is a lot of the tax supported Nanny organizations who hate conservatives and pretend to be nice non profits are losing funding like crazy all over the state. Many are closing their doors and more to come. The whining by these rats about to lose their paychecks from our taxes is sounding better every day! These are the rats who protest our 2 second amendment and anything that is conservative in Sacramento and DC!

ABORT DAVIS TO SAVE CALIFORNIA!

I'd argue that the Davis administration has been a "horrifically worse than we ever imagined was possible" -case scenario.

"intends to solve " is quite the same thing as "will solve". Apres' Clinton, I've learned to parse Democratspeak very very carefully. I intend to marry Cindy Crawford. Let's see if that works out any better for me than Gray's intentions...

EXCERPT: Gov. Gray Davis said yesterday that he intends to solve the money woes without raising taxes.

Not raise taxes? That's a Pubbie strategy. Simon should remind graydavis a leopard can't change its spots.

The $100 billion state budget Davis proposed in January called for the state to spend $12.5 billion more than its revenues. Legislative Analyst Elizabeth Hill said in February that the shortfall would be at least $17.5 billion. Legislative sources now say that weak income tax receipts could push that number to $22 billion, worst in state history.

How in hell does California spend $122 Billion? What can they possibly be getting for that amount of government spending?

With this data, the coming Mother of all fiasco bond offerings, the stupid bond to pay for electricity used by Kalis last year gets even more of a junk bond smell/odor.

The only way that Davis, Burton and the other Rats can sell these bonds is to force CalPers to buy a ton of them.

Rumor is that besides the millions of tubes of KY jelly on hand to ease the insertion of these junk bonds up those with retirement funds with CalPers. Davis has just ordered millions of tubes of Prep H with lidocaine. Also, ice will be handed out during the mass Bohica Event so Davis can sell these third world junk bonds. Then Fascist Davis can emulate the Bent one and say, "That looks bad, you need to put some ice on it!"

You need to define what Davis calls a tax.

The lying POS and his minions and the pressitutes have totally ignored the quarter % increase in sales tax that happened on 1 Jan 02. As he was saying no new taxes at the end of last year, the increase in sales tax was going in.

If the Cali-voters can't add this one up, I'm afraid, really afraid for Simon.

Sen. Don Perata, D-Oakland, said the size of the budget deficit makes it almost impossible to know how to deal with it. "I don't see any way around a tax increase," he said at a meeting of the Sacramento Press Club.

Is this the Sen. Don Perata, the holder of one in 5 CCW licenses in Oakland with the good cause being he's in fear of his life because of his anti-gun stance?

I know, why don't you propose a $5 per bullet tax increase? Apply this to the police too.

Yup. The same Don Perata. Speaking of which, why doesn't he tax himself $5.00 every time he opens his stupid mouth. It would make a contribution towards chipping away the mountain of debt the Rats have led us into thanks to their policies.

State spending went up 37% over the past 3 years. If I were Simon, I'd begin by finding out where all that went and cutting it back.

A Rat has already proposed a per bullet tax. It's not $5 per, but the proposal is already out.

How do these people spend more than the state is getting in revenue? If any of us mortals tried that kind of overdrafting, we'd all sit in prison for fraud. More news the political class has one set of rules for themselves and another set of rules for Joe Six Pack.

At least this is cheaper than buying "glass stomachs". Could that be one of Davis' greatest exec. decisions?
