They said state negotiators let Logicon help write internal Davis administration documents vetting and analyzing the contract, even though Logicon was pitching the deal. "The governor feels that the way the contract was made is the problem," said Davis spokesman Steve Maviglio. "The software was good and the contract may be fine, but the manner in which it was crafted certainly deserves scrutiny."
and who's fault is this??? Time to Dump "Dim Watt" Davis

Thanks Pokey!
So when did the state employees actually open the Whoreacle packages?
An earlier March audit showed that most of the software packages had not even been opened.
So did the CHP and other current non law agencies which had been law agencies before Davis go in and open these Whoracle DB packages?
Two more questions on this:
1. Have those databases even been installed after being opened?
2. After they were installed, have they actually been used in any real work or were they used to run a few of the sample DB's included with each package?
DUMP DAVIS! HE AND HIS QUISLINGS SMELL LIKE ROTTEN FISH!

Why not pass a California law that database vendors cannot charge more than their 1998 prices for software and services? That worked well for the electricity problems.

I would think that anybody doing business with the state of California would consider being paid in advance. Fly-by-night operation.

Gov. Gray Davis had promised that taxpayers would not have to pay "an additional penny" as the state works to rescind the deal.... But afterwords, get ready to bend over and take it up the....

"Gray Out" Davis has always been - and will always remain an incompetent, overreaching, power seeking, leftest moron. Davis has spent more time and effort shaking down every warm body he meets for contributions - than considering his actions as this State's chief executive. He has been a complete failure - as his background and history should have forewarned us he would be.
Have you folks forgotten that Davis was Chief of Staff to Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown? Brown was the most destructive governor in California's recent history - until Davis himself become governor to continue the destruction of California?
