This sucks. Political blackballing means too many Clintonistas in the IRS. It ought to be abolished, period.

How many hints do you guys nee?. We'll all suffer for not nominating Riordan. You should have seen this coming a mile away. I don't like RINOs, but any Republican would be a better Gov. than Gray-out. We've got to use some strategery, people.

The Justice Department, acting for the IRS, sued KPMG and BDO Seidman LLP on Tuesday for information about the tax shelters they have promoted. The firms said the documents at issue are protected by client confidentiality privileges.

Riordan would be down about 20 points in the polls right now. How many times to we have to nominate liberal Republicans and lose again, and again and again?

Most importantly why would you want someone MORE liberal than Davis to be governor?

I seriously doubt it. But I assure you that Simon's securities problems go far deeper than this. At least Riordan had a chance of being elected.

In principle, you're right. I supported Schundler over Franks, for example. But Simon, for purely personal reasons, is singurely unelectable.

Most importantly why would you want someone MORE liberal than Davis to be governor?

I wouldn't.

I remember a thread where The head of the (Clinton appointment)IRS Rossotti or some IRS exec saying, yes we do have politically motivated audits. You'd think saying something like that would bring outrage.

Hopefully people are starting to wake up that one of the main reasons the IRS is here is to make their system so complicated that you'll violate one of their rules (either by accident or by trying to save some money) and they'll hold that over your head so you'll stay in line.

Ah yes, the clinton hold-overs strike again.

Bush has been running the country for going on half his term. At this point he has to take responsibility for the acts of his administration and/or admit he's incompetent.
