Sounds as if Sen. Hillary Clinton could do with some anger management......seems to have really gotten under her skin by jabbing that she's one of those "angry candidates" who can't win the White House.
Clinton's ....retort that the "angry" charge was Republicans "trying to divert attention from their many failures."
A veteran Democratic national strategist says it would be smarter for Clinton to realize that she sometimes does look too angry and for her loyal aides to force her to tone it down.
"I would make her watch the video of her face at the State of the Union speech when Bush made a rather sweet joke about her husband [that he and Bill Clinton were two of his dad's favorite people]"....."She should have smiled but she looked as if she was going to be sick."
It's no accident that the RNC used its own Web site to post the video of Clinton at a Harlem church slamming Republicans for running the House of Representatives like a "plantation." She looked really angry there.
Some Dem experts also say Clinton's problem is she looks so convinced of her own rectitude that she can't deliver a jab with a warm smile, as her husband can.
"Her version of having a drink with someone is to co-sponsor a bill with a Republican but at the end of the day, she doesn't like them, she believes she knows better, and she genuinely believes they had a vast right-wing conspiracy against her," says a Democratic strategist.
Republican strategist Rich Galen says painting Clinton as "angry" is smart "because it doesn't allow her to portray herself as the victim. She's at her best as a victim, but being angry is something you do to yourself."

Dims rely on "victimization" when the going gets rough. Besides, to a liberal, it "feels good" to be a "victim" and to find other to blame for one's personal failures----like Hil blaming the VRWC b/c Moanica was under her husband's desk.
Hillary is fast becoming a satire of a parody. One is reminded of Jean Giraudoux's The Madwoman of Chaillot (Chappaqua). To some, The Madwoman is a polemic against men and capitalism and is a play that celebrates the need for diversity and tolerance....in other words, a liberal paradise.
just let the rope out, she will grab it and hang herself
Definition of the third level of hell ...
Hey, Hil! Have you been walking on my lawn? You know, where my dogs hang out? Be careful where you walk, because you've been "stepping in it" daily for the past month, LOL!
She must be FURIOUS that the bogus "crafting" of her persona is blowing up in her face. Can't you just see her puddling while screaming, "I'm melting! I'm melting! Oh, my beautiful world..."
Mrs. Clinton is nothing like her husband .. that is why for all these years she rode on his coat tails .. people don't like the real Hellary
She is right. I hope I am part of it.
Based on her disastrous "plantation" comment, her lurching back and forth on controversial political positions, her presence at Coretta's funeral, and her overall demeanor, we can safely begin to believe her chances at the WH are dwindling fast.
"Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."
"I would make her watch the video of her face at the State of the Union speech when Bush made a rather sweet joke about her husband [that he and Bill Clinton were two of his dad's favorite people]"....."She should have smiled but she looked as if she was going to be sick."
Smartest woman in the world? I don't think so.
Smartest woman in the Democrat party? Maybe.

THE (oops!) INADVERTENT ADMISSIONS OF BILL + HILLARY CLINTON (hear hillary)part one

Excellent point.
Can't be removed. Can't even be moderated.

Victimhood bought her a seat in the US Senate, but I doubt it will be enough to put her in the white house. She's going to need something else.
Victimization is a Dim's basic belief by which they blame and find others responsible for their own personal failures, then expect taxpayers, deep-pocketed individuals, the government, or the courts to bail them out.
For a Dim, it feels good to be in the throes of "victimization" and either A) causing victims, B) inventing victims, C) playing victim, D) commiserating over victims, E) subsidizing victims, and, F)creating another class of victims to bleed over.
Longtime Hillary aide Carolyn Huber, who saved Mrs. Clinton's buns ...
blech
OK, maybe.
I'm so glad you're doing all of this, Mia T. You provide a valueable Public Service! :)
I just don't think this is right. The moderate part yes, but the victim part, no way. It worked for her in NY to put her in the Senate, but there is no way it will work to make her Commander in Chief. What Liz said above about the culture of victimhood and it's appeal to the left is accurate, but the US isn't left enough for it to put her in the white house.
She has another plan, one we haven't seen yet. I suspect it involves her husband, and maybe even the Bushes. It is going to be a very entertaining couple of years to watch whatever she has in mind unfold.
But she definitely has the problem you allude to:
Victim and commander-in-chief are mutually exclusive constructs.
One thing missus clinton must do is get back the only real swing voter, the white woman.
In the past, playing the victim is all she would have had to do.
But, unfortunately for hillary,
(and--sweet irony--thanx to the clintons' utter failure)
9/11 turned the white woman red.
(See: WHY HILLARY MUST NOT WIN. WHY HILLARY CANNOT WIN.)
hillary clinton--missus bill clinton--is weak.
And she will always be perceived as weak.
The white woman--the security mom--will never ever entrust her kids to this pathetic creature.
And oh, btw, missus clinton's dumb comments about 'fear' (a lame imitation of FDR)
is an attempt to blunt this issue with the security mom.
Won't work. If anything, it will make her look clueless as well as weak.
... While America appears not to be ready for a female president under any circumstances, the post-9/11 realities pose special problems for a female presidential candidate. Add to these the problems unique to missus clinton. The reviews make the mistake of focusing on the problems of the generic female presidential candidate running during ordinary times. These are not ordinary times. America is waging the global War on Terror; the uncharted territory of asymmetric netherworlds is the battlefield; the enemy is brutal, subhuman; the threat of global conflagration is real. Defeating the enemy isn't sufficient. For America to prevail, she must also defeat a retrograde, misogynous mindset. To successfully prosecute the War on Terror, it is essential that the collective patriarchal islamic culture perceives America as politically and militarily strong. Condi Rice excepted, this requirement presents an insurmountable hurdle for any female presidential candidate, and especially missus clinton, historically antimilitary--(an image, incidentally, that is only enhanced today by her clumsy, termagant parody of Thatcher), forever the pitiful victim, and, according to Dick Morris, "the biggest dove in the clinton administration." It is ironic that had the clintons not failed utterly to fight terrorism... not failed to take bin Laden from Sudan... not failed repeatedly to decapitate a nascent, still stoppable al Qaeda... the generic female president as a construct would still be viable... missus clinton's obstacles would be limited largely to standard-issue clintonisms: corruption, abuse, malpractice, malfeasance, megalomania, rape and treason... and, in spite of Juanita Broaddrick, or perhaps because of her, Rod Lurie would be reduced to perversely hawking the "First Gentleman" instead of the "Commander-in-Chief." Yes, 9/11 made the already dificult victim as CIC construct impossible.
She knows it and has to try and mitigate it somehow. She has a plan, I'm sure, and I'll bet it's a dossey.
