November 21, 2001 -- WASHINGTON - An increasingly desperate Osama bin Laden has given his son and top aides instructions to kill him if American forces close in on his mountain hideout, according to new intelligence reports. Turncoat Taliban commanders who have joined the hunt for bin Laden have told U.S. agents that bin Laden has asked those closest to him, including his son, Mohammed, to reward him with a "martyr's death" rather than allow him to be captured by the "infidels," U.S. military and intelligence sources said last night.

Committing suicide is technically immoral in Islam. The suicide bombers justify their suicides by saying that they are dying in battle, and not killing themselves for the sake of killing themselves.

If bin Laden thinks that ordering someone to kill him rather than eating the barrel of his own Kalashnikov qualifies as martyrdom instead of garden-variety suicide, Islam has an even more primitive moral system than I previously suspected.

Picture this: Muhammed Bin Laden sees a convoy of vehicles approaching his Dad's hideout. He gets very concerned because they are starting to get real close. He grabs his Ak-47, runs up to his Dad and shouts "They're Coming to get you!" and shoots him dead. Moments later, Abdul Bin Beaten enters the cave room and asks Muhammed "Have the 3000 pizzas we ordered for the Ramadan party arrived yet? They said they would be here by now."
