Last time I checked, Jay Leno and John Goodman were hauling down millions a year as professional entertainers. Wonder how fast your wife or girlfriend would run to a plastic surgeon if the White House were able to persuade those two goons to mock her physical attributes on national television for a couple of weeks? NewsMax.com reports that Linda Tripp said in a radio interview that she doesn't want a job in the Bush White House; expressed disappointment that ex-President Clinton wasn't indicted; said he had several White House girlfriends; expressed her belief that the first lady knew about Monica Lewinsky; and confirmed rumors that Mrs. Clinton ordered staffers not to make eye contact with her.

I don't have a lot to add to this post except. I Love Linda Tripp for what she has put up with, for courage and just because I think she is an American Hero.

BTW, she has been kept quiet by the leftists. Ask Mr. Goldberg (and this subject has not come up on any of the talk shows he has been on, YET).
Oh my, there is so much he has purposly left out of the book. I am sure Mr. Goldberg could speak volumes on this subject, if pressed.

You have an interesting screen name. Back when the Monica story first broke I did an internet/data base search for both Monica and Linda Tripp's name. They both came back with a hit to an unprotected government data file called plumlist.html . It was a large list many screens across, thousands of positions,listing ALL politically appointed positions in the Clinton Administration with all kinds of info about the position either vacant or with the person in the position. At that time both Linda and Monica were classified as "Confidental Assistants". Just a little trivia for you.

Linda Tripp has had her life ripped apart because she was in the wrong place when the Clinton scandals/crimes were taking place. As a result, Linda Tripp knew too much. When the Monica scandal broke, Linda was a whistleblower who was also protecting herself. She was being coerced into committing a crime by taking part in the lies and obstruction of justice that Bill Clinton was perpetrating upon our justice system during the discovery period of the Paula Jones suit against Clinton. Linda chose to expose the lies and in so doing was subjected to the full force and power of the presidency of the U.S. when he and his defenders/apologists pulled out all the stops in the politics of personal destruction. What they did was devastating, ugly and indefensible.

All along, the Clinton Administration took every step they could to make her life miserable. Linda was a career civil service worker when Clinton came into office. She held a highly paid administrative position in the Bush administration and stayed on during the transition. She was moved out fairly quickly to a position at the Pentagon. After the Monica story broke, Linda was isolated and made to feel a pariah. Her career position was finally changed so that she was moved to a position that was held by appointment. This position was time-limited to the end of Clinton's term in office. I believe this move was deliberate so that she would lose her government job and perhaps her pension.

When she tried to get a job at a U.S. facility in another country, the position was sabotaged before she even stepped into the interview. Linda is a controversial figure from the Clinton scandals and is at a disadvantage. She is an older worker, highly qualified with a high salary history, and there are many less qualified, less controversial people looking for jobs.

I was fortunate enough to meet Linda Tripp and speak with her for a few minutes. She struck me as a very courageous and honest woman of high integrity. I would recommend that she write a book and tell all, but I fear that the long arms of the Clintons and their helpers are still waiting to pounce.

I wish Linda Tripp well and hope that she will be able to find employment, save her home and find peace and joy in her future endeavors.

Thanks for this post, and all your work in Washington dogging the steps of the Clinton mob. "Dallas" is making light of the fact that the Clinton machine could and did recruit a crowd of Hollywood sock puppets to attack Linda Tripp personally for months on the airwaves. This kind of advertising was worth millions of dollars to the Billary PR machine, all directed against a single person.

Guess "Dallas" doesn't believe in the power of advertising. Maybe he/she-it should explain to the Madison Avenue crowd that the billions that they spend advertising various products is a complete waste of money. ;-)

you nailed it with your big question, 'why hasn't anyone stepped forward to provide her with a job?'. I think it speaks very negatively about us as a people that she doesn't have a job. Remember how some rich fellow paid for plastic surgery so that she could look good on tv, but nobody simply lets her be a secretary.
