CIA WARNS OF MAJOR TERROR ATTACK

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The CIA has concluded that the United States will be rocked by a major attack from Islamic insurgents.

Officials said U.S. intelligence has assessed that the attack would probably come from Saudi fugitive Osama Bin Laden or his allies. They said the Bin Laden operation would seek to match the suicide attacks on New York and Washington on Sept. 11.

Such an attack, officials said, is likely to once again target New York or Washington. Over the last two weeks, the FBI, which works with the CIA in the Counter-Terrorist Center, has issued two warnings of terrorist attacks. The agency said it obtained information that insurgents have targeted banks and shopping malls in northeastern United States.

"Now for the hard truth," CIA Deputy Director for Operation James Pavitt said. "Despite the best efforts of so much of the world, the next terrorist attack -- it's not a question of if, it's a question of when. The threat that we face today from global terrorism is real, it's immediate, and it is unlike any other we have faced before. I say this from 30 years of experience in an intelligence function."

Yesterday, I was listening to NPR, my AM has too much static. Interviews were held from Palestine college students, One guy said his aunt's home in Jenin was raided for weapons by Israelis, This jerk was whined that his tax dollars helped fuel terrorism against his own aunt. I thought to myself, well, that can be solved quickly. LEAVE. After that, I changed channels, heck, Britney, Madonna, et al would be immensely preferable to listening to this crapola.

At least now the FBI is doing what it is supposed to be doing. During the Clinton years they actually had the FBI wasting its time busting people for selling knockoff T-Shirts. I kid you not. The Swap Shop in Ft. Lauderdale actually got raided and several vendors got busted by FBI agents for selling fake Mickey Mouse and other T-Shirts. One reason why the terrorists were able to plot their activities here is that the FBI used to waste its time on fake T-Shirt nonsense at flea markets.

That would be our having an ICBM with the heaviest and most evil hydrogen bomb warhead we possess aimed at the city of Mecca, and a guarantee that it will be launched five minutes after the first nuclear, biological, or other major wmd event those idiots ever manage to perpetrate on American soil.

So, we figure out who did it in 5 minutes? What if it was the North Koreans? Don't you think it would be a bit embarassing if we nuked Mecca?

I was hoping this WON'T happen.If the terrorists use a dirty bomb in the right weather patterns it could ruin many thousands of square miles of prime agricultural land for umpteen thousand years. This could affect the long term US economic situation.I just hope they don't do it!
