I've now read about Fortuyn's approval of pedophilia in three different places, so it's well confirmed. Yes, it's a condemnable depravity. BUT, just as the charisma of a leader doesn't confer any virtue on the ideas he promotes, the failings of a leader are irrelevant to the merits of those ideas as well. Remember that when the enemies of freedom start to argue that, because Fortuyn condoned pedophilia, therefore everything else he advocated was equally evil. You just know that's coming.

I've already taken you off the list. I've had this list for several months now, and this is the only time I've chosen to use it, and probably will be the only time I will ever use it.

I saw there was a news item that wasn't getting enough attention. Most of the people pinged to this thread appreciate it; if you don't like it, there's no reason to get so upset.

I think it's very big news that the media would have suppressed or ignored something like this.
