Kat will get no props when Taylor is announced as the winner. E got a good send off and generated some tremendous good will.
Kat won a car tonight.

Interesting times ahead next week.
Yup, just when some said the show would be boring without Chris, or a Taylor rout, the geniuses at AI find a way to hook us all. Those giant 33 percent numbers were surreal, like Price is Right on steroids.

the rapid crazies They go from 0 to crazy in no time flat!! ;-)
Okay, now I'm really leaving.

The voting process was definitely flawed. There were too few phone lines available for voting. I got lots of busy signals. Dialed 15 times for Eliot but only registered 3 votes at the most for him.
If all lines are busy, of course the vote total will be almost identical! That sucks.
Taylor would have also had a larger margin if AT&T had opened more lines up!
Eliot got cheated!

I'm with you about Moody's Mood--when Elliott first performed it on the show I was holding my breath and gritting my teeth, thinking "what is he thinking?" But wow, I couldn't believe what a great job he did with those crazy not-meant-for-voice jumps between the notes, and I was pretty much hooked (although I loved his version of Stevie Wonder's "If You Really Love Me" before that).

Eliot is just plain good people and that's what endeared him to so many folks.
I still can't figure out how Mandisa was voted off.

(Taylor--he sings, writes his own songs, plays instruments, has charisma, and he's the whole package.)

I read that she announced on a radio show that she would be on a street corner to sign autographs, and only about 20 people showed up.
I think in her location, however, it's not that surprising.
My son, the almost Eagle Scout, made a very disparaging comment about street corners, which took me by surprise.

Because she wore a bad outfit and doesn't have a body like Pickler of McPhee.
She would have been formidable in the final 4!!! I hope she and Elliott do a song together on the tour.

I'm with Taylor it's cool. It is one of the prettiest governor's mansions. I used to live close to it and would drive by every morning on my way to work. I miss Montgomery. :( But where i am now is cool too.
To: OldFriend
Mandisa wore a hideous jean outfit on her last show . . she didn't look like an Idol at all, not with her rear caboose in tight jeans, anyway.
She should have sung Stand By Your Man on Country Night and she would have stayed for several more rounds!
To: Wolfstar
See you later, Wolfstar :)
The CMA's are up against Idol next Tuesday :-/

McPhee has a broad beam too. She has NO fashion sense IMO. The yellow gown was her best outfit, and it 'mal-functioned.'

Birmingham Mayor--LOL...That would be the Hoover mayor. LOL The B'ham mayor wouldn't want you getting them mixed up. One's dem. and ones a pub. :)
