On the theory that Stanley telegraphed or Telexed her mother (in Hawaii) the birth news I contacted the corporate archivist for Western Union. She said they did not keep copies of telegrams for privacy reasons and what records they had from the 60’s were destroyed long ago. They also did not keep billing records- most likely to avoid tax issues.

But that is not the point. Someone has edited the scribd site. The first time I saw the edit it said they joined and edited the site 5 hours ago. Now it says they joined and edited the site 1 day ago!

Is there not a way to see the history of that site?

Look very carefully at the current exhibit at Orly’s site. The “6d” is much more sharp and darker than the 7s next to it. The “0” in the 47044 is not a zero, it is a schmutz “O”. The “E” in EF Lavender is sharper and darker than the “F” next to it.
