Question for Palinistas. What will you say when...
vanity | 1-8-10 | Bob J

Posted on 01/08/2010 2:07:44 PM PST by Bob J

...Palin endorses John McCain?

Top ten...

1) She's just "playing the game". Standing on principle and voting the RINO's out is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with Sarah becoming prez.

2) If Sarah says supporting RINO's is okay, that's good enough for me. The Messiah is infallible and what do I know?.

3) She's not being inconsistent, she's making a tactical retreat, but hey that's politics.

4) A smart move by the smartest woman in the world.

5) She didn't want to but the dims threatened to file an ethics complaint if she didn't.

6) She's not quiting, she's reloading.

7) What endorsement? That wasn't an endorsement she was repaying a political favor. Everyone does it.

8) That was part of her master plan to make dims and the MSM fear her even more...if that's even possible.

9) C'mon, McCain wasn't THAT bad...

10) Who cares? Look at those LEGS!

“Who do you support? Who would you like to see run in 2012?”

Cheney. That probably won’t happen but I answered your question.

I don't mind palinista. I kinda like it. Reminds me of Pallidin-quite the gunslinger! :^) Myself, I'd love to have a President who values life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness without destroying the original intent of those words! Just love this woman of common sense and sensibility!

Something about the thought of having a President who has actually RETURNED money to her constituents as a Governor of her State gives a patriot hope.

“I’ve been asking Bob who or what he supports. He won’t answer.”
"I’ve answered many times on other threads and I’m tired of the question"

Actually Bob J has never answered that question as far as I know, other than to say that he won't or can't name anyone, many of us have tried to ask him that, but being a big R liberal, he slips around the question.

He did post this answer once. "I’ve had time to think about it now, TRIG PALIN XXXVI.".

...as opposed to hard realities of modern politics...

You don't understand the hard realities of human psychology. People want to have something to rally around. People want to have a reason to give 100% to a cause. The further the pendulum swings one way, the more some will react or move further the other way. Yes, some people may, on the Internet, write in a way that they seem to have a messiah complex about Palin, however, I won't say people are treating her like that until, like Obama, her image starts appearing on FReeper's candles.

The other issue is how much Palin is attacked. Remember, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction- that is basic physics but it also applies to psychology. Palin has been attacked harshly, and thusly, her supporters react in an equally powerful way.

Some are reacting to you as though you are attacking in the same way the bloggers attacked her kid, so you should expect a reaction in a relational like manner. Others see what you are doing is just saying 'go ahead and settle now'. People don't want to settle, they want to be passionate, they want something to fight for.

IMHO, you are choosing the wrong battle.

Are you familiar with JD’s support of Indian Tribes and how much money he took from them?

And just what is that supposed to mean?

Are you aware of Bill Clinton's support of African-Americans and how much money he took from them?

Are you aware of Nancy Pelosi's support of gays and how much money she took from them?

Are you aware of Barack Obama's support of African-Americans and how much money he took from them?

Okay, so Obama is himself African-American and Hayworth is not a Native American. But, Native Americans make up a large part of the constituency of Arizona, so he should take up their interests, no?

OK, I read some excerpts from the HK speech & thought it was pretty good. Was there something in it that you liked or disliked that I should pay more attention to?

Yeah, you’re right, it probably won’t. More’s the pity.

If Palin does not run and/or make it through the primaries, I would sure love to see her oust Steele and take up the reins at the RNC. (I’d like that to have happened yesterday, for that matter).

Well, someone asked me who I would vote for in 2912.

All humor is lost on the Palinistas. Bunched panties get you that way.

In response to your statement about looking for her statements standing up for the Constitution and the 10th amendment, I thought you would appreciate it. It is one of the few really good speeches that hasn’t been filtered through the US media.

No Bob....she took the money DIRECTLY from the oil companies who had contracts to remove oil on property that Sarah reminded them BELONGED to the PEOPLE of the STATE! It was kinda of a ‘rental addendum’ if you will! Something that was written into Alaskan law but never really paid attention to, probably at the behest of the companies. You did not know this?

“And just what is that supposed to mean?”

It means Hayworth was willing to sacrifice conservative principles for a politcal pay off.

It’s not about who is holy, it’s about how much are you willing to ignore to achieve victory. Palin is not without blemishes but her ardent supporters want to put her on a pedestal and proclaim her sanctified. My concern is when she deviates off he reservation whether those same supporters will hold her feet to the fire or make excuses.

“I’ve been asking Bob who or what he supports. He won’t answer.”

I’ve answered many times on other threads and I’m tired of the question, the premise of which is “Why are you as blinded with the glitz and glamour of Palin’s book tour and intoxicated with her incessant Twittering as I am?”.

Wow! Off with ArrogantBustard's head...just for asking a reasonable question.

And the premise that you think AB is basing his question on is just bizarre.

Do your self a favor Bob and just logoff. Take a break. Okay?

It is never you and your liberal, anti conservative, excesses is it?

To: Bob J
Today you mock Sarah Palin’s Down Syndrome child as the liberals do.

A couple days ago you mocked our “slave holding” Founding Fathers just like the liberals do:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2412450/posts?page=133#133

Daily you mock Free Republic and conservative FReepers.
How low will you go in defending big “R” liberalism?

It appears we “in the neighborhood” are a big embarrassment to you?

OK, you will vote for her if she's the nominee. Doesn't this make your initial post on this thread appear disingenuous and only submitted to cause a stir?
Evidently none of her actions or opinions are that bad that you won't support her in 2012.

“No Bob....she took the money DIRECTLY from the oil companies who had contracts to remove oil on property that Sarah reminded them BELONGED to the PEOPLE of the STATE!”

The why does the Federal Gubmint (taxpayers in the other 49 states) continue to make payments to Alaska, the Inuits, other indigenous tribes, etc. when the state is so flush with cash?

Palin should have put that money into he general fund and reduced taxes. Instead she sends EVERY SINGLE RESIDENT OF ALASKA a check so she can say “brought to you by Sarah Palin” while accepting federal tax monies in the hundreds of millions of dollars FROM YOU AND ME.

Did you know Sarah was FOR the bridge to no where until it became a political liability and then she ditched it? Did you know she took 400 million in federal dollars for that program and then when it was canceled refused to give the money back? All while she was sending checks in the thousands of dollars to Alaska residents courtesy of people like you and me?

Palin talks the talk but doesn’t always walk the walk. I don't care that much if people worship her but when she doesn't walk the walk she should be called on it.

Guess you are really worried about Palin or you wouldn't keep her name so active here on FR.
