Wintry storm smacks an already battered Northeast
Yahoo ^

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A wintry storm dropped snow on the U.S. Northeast on Wednesday and threatened to bring dangerous winds and flooding to a region still climbing out from the devastation of Superstorm Sandy. The nor'easter storm added misery to thousands of people whose homes were destroyed by Sandy, which killed 120 people when it smashed ashore on October 29 in the New York-New Jersey area, swallowing entire neighborhoods with rising seawater and blowing homes from their foundations.

I don't believe in collective guilt any more than I believe in collective salvation, and I, for one, hope that this new storm doesn't cause much grief. A tropical storm, last night's election results and a winter storm are not a sequence that anybody needs.

You are confusing deserving to die with not taking responsibility for your own survival. And a degree removed from that, elections have consequences.

I'm from the Midwest where we face tornados and floods all of the time. How many times did people from the NE hop in their cars or trucks to come out to the Midwest to help us dig our and rebuild, actually I can tell you before you scratch your head wondering -NEVER!

You missed all those pick-ups from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and the rest of New England hauling in water and ice and sandbags and salt and other supplies during the Tennessee floods and Kentucky ice storms?

You're right...I didn't see any either...

If it’s not my church or local community they are on their own. No more charity aside from what I mentioned. As a producer I have a bulls eye on my back and am expected to pay for anything and everything the takers want through confiscatory taxes at the threat of jail or gun point. I am certainly not going to voluntarily give the takers one red cent.

Let them call their messiah king barrack I if they want help, see how that big government caring help works out for them.

“oh I don’t wish actual harm on them....I want them to live...but I want them in shelters and govt trailors and eating govt cheese....and enjoy it of course...”

I’ve got a news flash for you regarding your tagline, PMAS: Evil triumphed last night.
What Cherry is saying is what they have planned for us, so go wave your shaming finger and do your superiority strut somewhere else, at least for a few days.
Next you’ll be calling us “racists,” and I don’t think anyone here is in the mood for that tired shite.
The Democrats can all freeze in the dark. Feck `em.

“Real nice to wish on your fellow Americans...”

The people of NY & NJ aren’t MY fellow Americans. They are not Americans at all. Just a bunch of socialist euro-weenies sucking the government teat. Let the piglets drown.

The NE has allowed Obama to split the country into two separate parts, so as to get the government to support them. So they are on their own, we are already paying for them with our taxes, and no private help from me.

Best wishes to you personally, though.

Well, by a certain logic, FR isn't even an American site. You can see that horrifying "CA" in the address at the bottom of every thread. People should stop using such a horrible Californian site and use a nice real American one.

This is totally weird. Do you believe in harbingers?

Now this video is long, a lot of these phenomena have happened in past ages, I can't explain a lot of it, but when it comes to chemtrails and UFO's, etc., I just figure yeah it's something but I don't get into it. Yet anyway.

You might want to watch this video. It's long. So I suggest you let it play to the end and read some other page. Then back it up to 34:13 and see this totally weird tube-shaped cloud that extends a long way along the NJ coast on June 7, 2012, mentions the cities of Sea Isle and Ocean City.

Watch this and you will know we're in END TIMES! - YT

Then I checked Sea Isle City, and look what Hurricane Sandy did there.

In Sea Isle City, residents begin lengthy cleanup process

Maybe just a coincidence but that Lebanese river turning red, there's other frightening and odd stuff in that video like a rainbow that is curved like one but not like most rainbows.

The people who came, rolled up their sleeves, pitched in cleaning, scraping, donating and in time and love and in general helping those in not so distant Joplin were those from churches - not FEMA, not Homeland Security, not Crispy Creme, not American Red Cross, though they gathered donations a plenty. Nope it was the good folks from churches from mostly Southern and Midwestern areas.

I cannot believe some of the comments I am reading here, conservatives wishing added hardship onto fellow Americans -you guys sound like the hateful DUmmies at DU.

A lot of good people are suffering through this aftermath and now a new storm, including many conservatives.

I have been down to the shore in NY many times and it is devastated, no body is asking you for anything here, just not to make hateful comments.

0bama has already divided this country, and now you are letting him divide conservatives.

I agree with you. I have a number of friends who are good people, both Republicans and Democrats who are living in NY and NJ and don’t deserve to be demonized.

I do want to know where all this money being raised is going. I donate to the Salvation Army as they put all their resources out to helping people directly. They are always and without fanfare some of the first “boots on the ground” giving what is needed.

I’m not wishing added hardship — just pointing out that if they want the government to look after them (good luck with that), they should not be surprised if there are few private donations.

That doesn’t justify comments wishing hardship, death, etc. on anyone, conservatives should be better than that.
In your mindset, we should then hope for an earthquake in Ohio or Colorado, a tornado in Iowa, a tsunami in Florida - those are the folks that put 0bama back in office, their votes actually counted in both elections that installed 0bama in office - both republicans and independents in those states are responsible.

Our real enemies are the media, Hollywood, the music industry and many companies like GE, GM, Chrysler, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, UBS, the Unions and many others that heavily support 0bama.

We had bad flooding here in 2007 and again in 2008.

Red Cross has Comfort Packs (toiletries/space blanket) and water. You had to go pick it up. We are rural and the roads were impassable for 2 days.

FEMA showed up a week later and set up tables in the Ag Center store, where you could apply for disaster loans, if you had no insurance. Local EMO showed up after 4 days and just asked about damage and looked at things.

We donated to RC after 9-11 and then learned how it was misused. We donate to SA. We had water available for neighbors who had lost their wells.

Every local weather event, we all take care of ourselves and always have. It is difficult to band together, at first, since people are 1/4—1/2 mile apart and phones go down.

As for fellow Americans, the gay daughter of a dear friend posted on her mother’s FB account that if the marriage referendum in MN passed, she had a “punch in the nose” available for everyone who didn’t vote her way. Another conservative friend’s NYS daughter posted pro-0 campaign talking points to everyone’s FB. They have no compassion or respect for even their own parents.

You can all draw your own conclusions.
