Lovely. This thread seems to be bringing out both the "guilty conscience" brigade and the "didn't bother to read the article" brigade.

Wow. This thread sure brought out the hysterics. The venom is WAY out of proportion to the issue.
THE BLUE LAGOON star and her SPIN CITY writer spouse turned to IVF in late 2001, following six months of trying for a baby without success.
While I don't know how many babies were created/frozen/or destroyed, six months is an incredibly brief amount of time to try naturally before turning to IVF. Usually doctors wait a year.

Dear Coleus,
In science, a crucial judgment is whether to do a thing, just because we can.
Fortunately, not all who have found themselves similarly situated have done this thing, just because they can.

Thank you Coleus for this excellent thread. It is tragic the way it draws out those who are twisted within by guilt because they killed their own children in the womb or in these evil IVF procedures. It also draws out those whose minds are so woven together with the Culture of Death that they can no longer see the good, the true and the beautiful much less the right order of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
