It's almost impossible to top yesterday's DUFU edition, "Clueless about women, please help me out," so I didn't even make the attempt. However, I thought you might find this edition of interest since it is yet another look into bizarre DUmmie psychology. As far as yesterday's edition, it definitely deserves to be chronicled in comix form as well. That is where the CD-ROM insert of the DUmmie FUnnies book comes in since all the color comix would go there. So if you are Jeff Kleinman of the Graybill and English Literary Agency, please stress that CD-ROM insert when pitching the DUmmie FUnnies book to the publishers. Oh, and my contact address for literary agents and publishers is: PJ-Comix.

Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

I'm pretty much down with that.

“Twisted yellow ribbon magnets on cars means...‘I support the Republican/Bu$h/NeoCON agenda and all you anti-war, liberal, commie motherf*ckers can rot in hell.

Why didn't somebody tell me sooner?

Normally I avoid "cutesy" ribbons, but if this one is that clear about the message I better run out and buy a few!

My car's got plenty of stuff in the back window:

Seems like these stickers are always affixed to 1984 Ford Fiesta rattraps.

I am thinking of designing a ribbon also. Probably in black with the words "Support the Brave Iraqi Freedom Fighters" on it in red or yellow. I could make a fortune off of the Dummies.

I swear, I have never a bigger group of people who absolutely have to be miserable to be happy. Even DUmmie Steve from yesterdays edition. Not only does he date someone way out of his league, he knows she is out of his league and now will be all despondent and sh!t because he got shot down. In other words, by looking to be miserable, he will be happy.

Reminds me of the song on Hee Haw about despair, misery and woe.

I think what strikes me the most about this particular thread is the overwhelming attitude of "I hate conservatives expressing their freedom of speech". I guess First Amendment rights only apply to liberal causes. I was actually told in DU (yeah, I was spying) that I had NO FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS in DU in response to something I said. Ain't that a hoot?

Five out of the first 20 posters agreed with that comment so MAKE IT 6 out of 21. I am OK with that.

I have a red, white and blue ribbon that says "Freedom isn't Free". Nice to know I'm making some DUmmies' lives miserable! :-)

I've got an old junker so folks can key away.

Ahhhhh, so we finally get to the crux of the matter. Old Hippy can't afford a new (fuel efficient, low emmission) car so he lashes out at those that can. It's tough squeezing out a living on "disability" payments. Those old VW buses can be a pain to maintain.

There are the yellow ones and then there are the red, white, and blue ones. My guess is, at least around here (NY), the yellow means support our troops and BRING THEM HOME.

I may have to agree with this DUmmie. I live in Fort Lickerdale in Bluuuuest Broward Co., they don't 'suffer Republicans to live' around here. And yet everybody has one of the yellow ribbons. I don't get it. I think it's the old I support our troops, BUTT...

If I lived in a blue state, well, I still have some unused "Re-elect the President" bumper-stickers from 1972--not that I was that fond of Richard Nixon, even pre-Watergate, but he was, even post-Watergate, better than all the alternatives--and just to see how the DUmmies would react, I would use one or two of them.

The problem being, the DUmmies would not get it.

For DUmmies, history begins when they wake up in the morning; they would have no idea.

"Flag, schmag! I (heart) the Constitution!"

That one actually bothers me very little. But I suspect my concept of what's Constitutional would be very different from that of the average DUmmie.
