American Dream Initiative

The Democratic Leadership council is launching the ''American Dream Initiative''. The Chairman is none other than Hillary Clinton.

The American Dream Initiative is a year-long project of the DLC that will engage political, business, labor, civic and intellectual leaders in a ''national conversation'' to help shape a positive agenda for our country and the Democratic party. The Initiative will focus on challenges facing America including: keeping our country safe, building an opportunity society, standing up for families and making sure our political and electoral systems work for all Americans. It looks like the Democrats have decided that it is time to have a message. Has the Party Of NO figured out that an agenda of opposition can't get them elected? Will they actually believe in the ideals you will soon hear them preach, or did they suddenly realize George Bush isn't running in 2008? Since Hillary is in charge you can bet they will try to co-opt Republican conservative ideas and remake them as their own.

Rest assured this will be no ''Contract With America''. Bill Clinton got reelected by ''building a bridge to the future''. Now Hillary will try to sell us the ''American Dream''. If the Dems regain power it will be back to business as usual. Higher taxes and more government.

The middle word is "Scheme," not "Dream." I am looking forward to the crowning speech my Hillary! to an adoring crowd (average IQ of a doorknob) along the Reflecting Pool. On the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Hillary! will give her memorable address, "I Have a Scheme."

The only thing of import in this matter is that the center (such as it is) of the Democrat Party has conceded the nomination to Lady Macbeth (excuse me, the Esteemed Junior Senator from New York, Hillary! Clinton). That means we, the rational and constitutional Americans, have a single target from here on out.

We need to train all political guns on Her Indescribable Holiness, Clinton (her), starting now. LOL.

Democrats have apparently reached the conclusion that they have lost so many elections because they are too far to the left.

For once Democrat strategists have guessed right. Even voters who are slow-learers have caught on that the Democrat Party is the mirror image of the British Socialist Labor Party.

The Democrat's solution is to change their image. Now pay particular attention to this tactic. The strategy will be to change how voters see them. The change will be in how they appear to be, not in what they really stand for.

While they will make public statements, hailed by the major media as "moving Democrats to the right," the socialist agenda will remain the underlying drive.

Despite their new surface look underneath they will be the same old socialists.

Will it fool anyone? Unfortunately the answer is yes. Aside from the usual socialist voting blocs that Democrats can take for granted, such as blacks, government workers, unions, trial lawyers, illegal aliens etc., many unsophisticated voters, who come alive only during political campaigns, are virtual slaves to the leftist/biased major print and TV media.
