Here is how the post was headlined 10 minutes ago; I see it has now been changed to “Alabama” from “Iowa”.

““Ron Paul Wins Big in Iowa (Landslide Republican Victory””

Iowa is not Alabama..

“Ron Paul received 216 votes”

Just how small is this group that held the straw poll?

“““Ron Paul Wins Big in Iowa (Landslide Republican Victory”””

So now I am curious Kirk, why did you put the word Iowa in your original post in place of Alabama?
It hardly could have been an accident...

The turnout speaks volumes about the lack of enthusiasm of those who supported candidates other than Ron Paul.. They cared so little about voting for their candidates that they didn’t bother to show up at this official Republican forum. This straw was widely advertised and open to all Republicans in the state, including a front page article in the Tuscaloosa News. Despite this, they couldn’t get off their butts. Perhaps those who care so little about attending should be criticized, rather than those who showed up.

Gosh....I made a typo and said Iowa instead of Alabama. Gee whiz, it wasn’t on purpose. I know, of course, that those who criticize never, ever make mistakes.

Well, they don’t put the wrong state in a title. That’s pretty major.

Q: What’s the difference between a spammer and a Paulestinian?

A: The spammer would be in jail thanks to laws passed by the GOP.

The item at the Paulie site was amazingly brief and incredibly short on details. It doesn’t tell how many voted—or anything else.

It hardly could have been an accident...

It was accident, combined with senility in old age. What possible conspiratorial motive could I have had to make it up, especially since the body of the story dealt with Alabama? Then again, it could have all been part ot of a diabolical Paulite plan to convince others than we are not as intenet savy as our reputations.

Seriously, it was just a garden variety mistake by an oldster. I know, of course, that you never make mistakes...so you might not understand.

Wrong. Ron Paul isn't going to run as an independent or 3rd party candidate. But if the GOP and their brainwashed, slack-jawed supporters keep trashing him and his dedicated supporters, they're not going to vote for the Republican nominee in the general.

“266 total voted. Next question?”

I have one. Isn’t there a larger, more well known Republican group that can run a straw poll in a conservative state like Alabama?

Well....Clara, I salute you as the only person alive today who never made a "major" mistake. You really should run for president with that kind of stellar record. The last person who could make the same claim died 2000 years ago. BTW, I loved watching you on the Andy Griffith show. I, of course, was on another network at that time.
