I’ve heard this rumour as well, not sure how much truth is in it but I know they’re panicking, exactly the wrong thing they should be doing. But liberals tend to be emotional, you know.

The last time they used the Eagleton option, they went to a Kennedy relative....Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg was on Obama’s VP search committee to begin with...

I don’t think Hillary will come to Obamas’ aid.

There was no chance that Hillary would have settled for VP even back when it looked like Obama might win.

Hillary wants to be Supreme Emperor for Life. She is willing to settle for being President. No way would she ever settle for being VP.

;o) Yeah. But isn’t this fun? Obammie, the non-muslim needing to bring a woman on board to do the fighting for him. That’s so muslimesque.

If we don’t have video, then we can’t do anything with it.

The biggest problem is the top of the ticket...for both major political parties! McCain did well in picking Sarah Palin to be his VP, but it’s still “maverick” McCain who is running for POTUS.

Here's the transcript --

http://hotlineblog.nationaljournal.com/archives/2008/09/sunday_snapshot_54.html

Biden, asked why Obama won't participate in town halls with McCain: "Well, that's a little above my pay grade, to use the phrase. I mean, it's a decision the campaign made before I got on the campaign, before I was picked. ... I think those debates that are going to take place, the three critical debates between the two nominees, are going to be the most watched debates in the history of American politics, and I think people are going to get everything they need out of those debates."

You know he has had brain surgery! Biden spokesmen have said aneurysms but don't be surprised if he suddenly starts discussing brain cancer and drops out.

Brain cancer is in the news anyway due to Teddie.

I doubt he'll be the running mate come November.

The Clintons will just laugh if presented with such an offer. There’s no way they will want to put off being able to run for president until 2016, especially when it looks like Obama is going to lose this election. Obama screwed up by thinking that he could win the general without making much of an effort to get Hillary’s supporters behind him. At that time he perhaps could have gotten Hillary on the ticket as his general election prospects looked very good, especially considering that McCain didn’t really have his party’s base behind him. But with the Palin pick that has now changed.

I think the Clintons, if presented with a choice between joining a ticket as a VP candidate and perhaps winning (and playing 2nd fiddle for 4 to 8 years), or staying on the sidelines and watching Obama crash and burn will opt for the latter as they will be able to lay claim to the party mantle in the wake of yet another disastrous Democrat presidential campaign.

I suggested this in a post early last week. Biden will suddenly come down with some heretofore undiagnosed malady that will cause him (for the sake of the campaign), to drop out. Best of many worlds … Biden gets to keep his present seat in government, Obama gets to choose again and all is right with the world. ;-)

Of course, after the election, Biden will ok, and able to continue his duties.

That leaves Obammie open to the same “outrage” that has been directed at McCain. Why wasn’t Biden “vetted” before he was brought on board. Everyone knew he was “sick.” It’s all good.

I would sure hate to see that happen--as it would electrify the democratic base....and just might make Hussein electable!!

No,you’ve got it wrong, Obama is going to have a breakdown
and Hillery! will take the reins. A simple injection or two
and Barrack is in lala land, babbling about magic unicorns
and evil witches of the north...Then joe has a car accident
and Bill slips into the Veep slot and it’s Camelot all over again on a bridge to the 22nd Century.

A shame, he was such a promising young man too.......
