"There was no chance that Hillary would have settled for VP even back when it looked like Obama might win."

I think she would have taken the VP slot earlier. Have you ever heard of Vince Foster?AWB

This may be in jest but it would not surprise me to see Obama drop Joe. I think he has a serious drinking problem.

The biggest question: Would Hillary be willing to take the risk of going down with the sinking ship that is Obama.

If zerObama’s real BC surfaces and he’s ruled ineligible, Biden moves up to the first slot, and who is more logical for the ViPer slot than Hillary!™?

If Biden leaves office for health reasons two years and one day into his term, the Hildabeast finishes it out and is still eligible for TWO FULL TERMS!

Ten years, less one day, of having to say ‘Madam President Hillary!™’...

Unless Biden becomes so ill that he can no longer serve in the Senate, nobody will buy any such type of switch-a-roo. If Biden suddenly becomes “ill”, but is then seen serving in the Senate, everyone will know that the Liberal Messiah is desperately pandering to women. I don’t think Biden is willing to end his Senate career in order to help The One.

I’m not so sure. As the days tick by, and the Obama campaign gets more and more confused, I don’t see it energizing the base. They’ll just start throwing their hands up and saying McCain poisoned Biden’s drink or something.

Like a sports team down 20 points with 3 minutes to go, it takes a lot of discipline to regroup and go for the win. Most just start acting goofy. I doubt Obama could rally the Dems all over again. Let alone the middle, where the fight is at.

Also, I believe Biden used that phrase in a derogatory manner to Ollie North during questioning on the Iran Contra affair in 1987 or so. The phrase is now associated with Joe Biden.

They’d have a lot better results, ejecting the guy at the top of their ticket...

He’s getting more than a bit boring, frankly.

Bring in a Kennedy (a la Sargent Shriver replaced Eagleton). Hillary won't take it this time around because why hook your wagon to a loser.

Actually, it’s ALSO used in the Military, meaning that you’re too junior to make a decision of that magnitude. . .

Maybe it's Obama who is the one who steps aside. Hillary's 18mm votes have shown the Dems who is really electable. I think Obama has already had an aneurysm, with the way he will string ten sentences into one long run-on with the use of “and”, “you know”, “er”, etc. Really, who else do you know with normal brain capacity that talks like this. Obama is like a bad rock guitarist who gets into a riff and can't find a way out.

At first I thought “Oops, Repeal 16-17 hit the nail on the head” BUT Biden may not have a say in it. That is the easiest way out for him.

Teddie is supposed to come back to the Senate, why couldn’t Biden?

Obama’s camp can’t kick him out just for being a drunken old has been. They’ve got to have a reason that is faultless on both sides. Brain cancer fears would be good enough. It’s big but survivable.

People need to get their heads on straight.

When you have what appears to be a winning game, you don’t want to see it change.

We Do Not Want Hillary Involved. Period.

She is a needless risk. Leave the chemistry as it is. Let’s NOT build any sort of big lead. Let’s hold a 4% lead all the way to election day.

An 8% lead in mid October will generate DNC meetings and we don’t need that.
