Thoughts on Tonight's Debate
It's A Kwazy Life ^ | Tom Lamb

Obama warned us 2 years ago about the problems with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?

Is that why Obama had Jim Johnson as part of his staff?

McCain lost a golden opportunity to put Obama away right at the begining.

This Obama allegation came out of the blue. How did Christopher Dodd and Barney Frank respond to Obama’s dire warnings of impending financial disaster. Why did Obama continue to accept generous contributions from Freddy and Fannie. I assume this claim is pure bull feathers and should be exposed as such.

He still has two more debates to hammer Obama on this.

It wouldn't have put him away. None of these poison pills ever works--Obama would have said "Well YOU have an advisor who takes money from them too!" and it would have been a draw, whatever the facts.

We're foolish for thinking there is a quick killing blow in these things. They're about accumulation, and in this case, death by a thousand cuts. McCain is carefully pulling down Obama's facade and revealing a very hollow, empty person. After three debates, people may not even be able to explain why, but they'll just "have a feeling" about Obama, and it won't be a good one.

I think McCain showed he had more fire in the belly tonight then his opponent. Frankly, Obama was flat.

I wish when Obama claims he opposed the war “at a time when it was politically risky” McCain would have pointed out that he was running in a Democratic primary in an overwhemingly left wing district. There was no risk in being anti-war for Obama.

I was struck by Obama’s demeanor in the reaction shots. He smiled, he grinned and he smirked in reaction to McCain’s answers. I heard not a single talking head on TV bring this up.

He certainly didn’t look presidential in his reaction to McCain’s answers. It seemed rather childish to me.

Am I the only one who noticed this?

No, you are not alone in your assessment.

Intelligent people usually focus on the non-verbal cues of a human being, and factor that into their opinion of what the person is thinking or planning on saying.

You are correct in your assessment of Obama being a smarmy little punk who has absolutely no place in key positions of leadership for the American people.

All I saw was that arrogant, pompous pr!ck acting like a little jerk.

His words are meaningless when we examine his mannerisms.

I still maintain that Obama has more in common with Yasser Arafat, Kim Jung Il and Idi Amin than he does with the American people.

Juan Williamns included it in his critique. Said it hurt him. BO can’t help being who he is. He can rehearse answers, but the body language says it all. I DO NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO THIS MAN FOR 4 YEARS!
