McCain Leading Obama - Libs In Frenzy
Political Stew ^ | 10/26/2008 | Stew

Posted on 10/26/2008 7:51:10 AM PDT by curth

The team of Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin is leading their opponents in the race for the White House. They have to be. How else do you explain the latest and most intense round of lies, smears, half truths, false and misleading reporting , the usual cries of racism, scare tactics and phony boasts of confidence put out by the Democratic team and their liberal media partners in crime, all done to create as much chaos, uncertainty and deception as possible?

The mountain of lies and deception is so high, that you need an oxygen tank every time you read something in the print media or watch something on tv. The libs are in a frenzy. They cannot believe that their men aren’t running away with this election, so they simply lie, knowing no one in the media will call them on it, and,in fact ,the media will help in the spreading of the lies.

These are experienced, professional liars. They know where to attack. They attack what they believe to be their enemy at it’s strength, the thing they fear the most. The thing they fear the most in this campaign is Sarah Palin, a brilliant, self made, all-American woman, the most exciting Vice Presidential candidate in the history of the USA, a positive role model for every young woman in America, who has been electrifying overflow crowds across the country. They have no answer for her, so they attack with hatred, both personal and professional. They lie about her effect on the campaign. They lie that she is no longer popular with women. She is the greatest asset there is to the McCain ticket, but they lie to the public to plant seeds of doubt in the minds of people who still get their news from network tv, daily news rags and magazines in doctors offices.

They suppress any positive news about Palin. Want proof? Just do a search at Google or Yahoo for Palin Rallies , then do it for Obama Rallies and see what you get? What you get for Palin is nothing except the McCain announcements about them and links to sites about protests being organized for her rallies. Nothing about the actual rallies, the rallies where she continues to draw record setting crowds for a VP candidate, crowds of enthusiastic supporters. No pictures, nothing positive at all. For Obama, headlines of large crowds with loads of pictures. It is shameful. They know they’re losing on the issues, so they try to distract the public from them and are trying to make this election about Sarah Palin.

They lie about polls, polls bought and paid for by the very media that reports them. They write deceptive headlines that conflict with the actual story. In one instance this week, ABC actually reported that McCain had closed to within 2 points of Obama, then continued with the headline that Palin’s losing of popularity was dragging McCain down! They are now creating false rumors of discord between McCain and Palin, none of which are true, citing the usual , nameless “inside sources”, and now they are looking under every rock in the USA trying to find a Republican willing to comment about Palin, so they can twist it into something they can use to harm her. They post stories with headlines like “Is Palin a Drag On McCain? If it weren’t so sad it would be a joke.

They’ve sent out mailers to union members, telling them that if Obama were white, it would be no contest, effectively calling their rank and file racists. They know there is a great resistance to the Obama team by union members, a group the Democrats always have had in their back pockets. Not only are they calling their members racists, they are also calling them stupid. How else can you tell tens of thousands of workers not to vote for a man who wants to build 40 nuclear reactors that will keep them working steadily for at least the next ten years and whose vice presidential candidates spouse is a union steelworker and instead, support someone who refuses to build even one?

Perhaps their lowest and dirtiest tactic is to post articles mentioning how there may be riots all across America if Obama loses. Again, fear, intimidation and the race card, played by the team of the great uniter. Obama has caused more division in the country than anyone in it’s great history.

On election night, you can be sure that they will declare victory for Obama as early as they possibly can, while waiting as late as possible to declare McCain the winner in any state they feel he will win, in order to create the illusion of an Obama landslide and to discourage people in central and western states from voting. By making it appear that the race is over, there is no reason to vote. The bottom line here amounts to a massive attempt at voter suppression.

The entire Obama candidacy is one of perception and deception. Since we all know the polls are tainted and biased, we have to come to the conclusion that McCain and Palin are winning, that America has come to it’s senses and will not put a Socialist regime whose plan for America is made up of nothing but lies, smoke and mirrors and will lead America down a path of damage and destruction that will take years to recover from, in the White House.

I expect Obama to win the popular vote. He'll get NY, CAL, etc. by the millions. McCain has to win the electoral vote. If he does, we will hear all the whines of Algore beating Bush on the popular but losing the election and the whines around the world of how stupid our voting system is. I could give a rats ass less what the world thinks of me and our electoral process. On that topic, I could give a rats ass what the left, press and whiners think.

I don't care what they think of me either but what bothers me is there are probably millions of people who don't know that Obama is an illusion built up and marketed by the MSM. I also worry about the election night perception that he is winning which may cause millions on the west coast to not vote. I am going to vote, anyway. I don't care how much they try to claim it is useless to vote for McCain. Kondrake said in his column in the morning paper that it is as good as over, that basically, McCain is just a technicality. I wish they would wait till the American people speak before they declare Obama president.

How in the world did Obama get this far???? Its like a bad dream!!

I feel it’s too late, but that’s true no matter who wins,. If the left loses, they will be even uglier than they were with Bush. Everytime they lose, the monster seems to grow, bigger, uglier and more dangerous. It’s only a matter of time.

Everytime I become encouraged I hear the talking heads tell me that McCain doesn't have a chance and Sarah is a drag on the ticket.

I think Sarah has kept John in the race.

McCain needs to get on TV..he needs for everyone to see him and say,

"DON'T BELIEVE WHAT YOU'RE READING..WE'RE GOING TO WIN...IF EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTS ME SHOWS UP TO VOTE, WE WILL WIN."

And then look straight into the camera and say the following: THE MEDIA WANTS US TO LOSE...They've lied about me, they've lied about the polls, they've tried to destroy my running mate, let's show them who really runs this country. YOU.

The inside-the-beltway media won’t admit that Palin gives McCain his only shot to win. With anyone else as VP, I would actually believe these polls.

What on earth is Obama going to say? It seems pretty risky to do this a few days before the election is he’s so far ahead. I think this is a sign they knew just how close this election is. What do you think he’s going to say? Is it going to be one of those ridiculous videos?

I would be discouraged to if I watched the news. Turn off the TV! It will only depress you. I am going to vote and do all I can to help McCain get elected but I refuse to watch the lying MSM anymore. I listen to Rush and get my news from FR. But I am still careful which threads I click on. There are a lot of people in FR who are chicken littles and will bring you down, too. I just avoid bad news. There will be a time for hand wringing later if McCain loses. In the meantime I refuse to be depressed.

I'm watching McCain on MTP right now and that is what he's saying. Too little too late. Whining about the media won't help either.

I hope and pray their campaign strategy doesn’t work. I wonder if it will, especially if they try to call Florida for 0 before the polls close. Thoughts, anyone?

If there is one man you can trust to give you the straight goods on the election it is Rush Limbaugh. A couple of weeks ago he proclaimed that ‘the American people and Sarah Palin will have to drag McCain over the finish line.’ Rush also predicted the polls would close. Quite simply, Obama is like a football team that is regarded by the pundits as far superior to his opponent before the game begins but once he stepped on to the field of play (after the Republican convention) but contrary to expectations he has underperformed and even played the game from behind in the 1st quarter and only a serious injury to a key player on the other side (the financial meltdown and bailout) allowed Obama to take and sustain a sizeable lead for about a 3-4 week period. Then halfway through the 3rd quarter (October 12) Obama fumbled the ball big time allowing the McCain campaign to run it back for a touchdown by making his ‘spread the wealth’ comment to Joe the Plumber; then at the beginning of the 4th quarter (October 19) Joe Biden makes his famous gaffe of Obama precipitating an international crisis ‘due to being untested’-another turnover that the McCain campaign ran back for a touchdown. A 2 touchdown lead has suddenly evaporated and as we enter the midway mark of the 4th quarter the reputable pollsters (Battleground,IBD/TIPP) along with ARG and now Zogby are showing anywhere from a 3-5 point race in favor of Obama equivalent to being 1 score down. As you football fans know if you’re one score down with 1/2 of the 4th quarter left to play it becomes anybody’s game at that point. Now with all the advantages that Obama has had in raising money, fawning media support and the MSM trashing of Sarah Palin on a daily basis, the deliberate misrepresentation of polling numbers to suppress the Republican turnout, an unpopular Republican President who has been in office for 2 terms, the worst financial meltdown in 70 years most of you rational political observers would be quite correct to conclude before the campaign started in earnest after the Republican convention that McCain would be blown away by Obama and would not have any chance whatsoever. So to see McCin this close in the polls so close to election day tells me that Obama is either a flawed candidate, has run a lousy campaign or the X factor of Sarah Palin has changed the dynamics of the race or maybe it’s a combination of all three. On November 4 we’ll all find out if this will go down in political or sports history as the greatest upset in the history of the world.

I am not at all certain that Obama will win the popular vote. I think there is a large number of Silent voters who have kept their opinions to themselves but who will vote for the War Hero and against the Communist.

Leftists live in a world of delusion. It's always painful when reality comes crashing down and shatters a delusional paradigm. I think that millions of Leftists are in for a painful awakening.

Make sure that ALL pro-War Hero voters get out and vote!
