Coverup! LA Times suppresses incriminating obama video

The entire matter smacks of a Watergate-style coverup of the highest order. The LA Times is on the wrong side of this issue because the public’s right to know the truth is the sole purpose of press freedom. This is crucial evidence in the court of public opinion, and to deny the American People the opportunity to view the actual smoking gun evidence is inexcusable.

These are desperate times. And Fat Teddy’s feeling better, he’s gone back to DC so he can be there election night. Let’s hope and pray he’s disappointed with the outcome.

I hope he is disapointed too.

BTW, I saw this comment over at a PUMA website,
"Back in the 80’s I lived in Romania while it was under the thumb of communist dictator Nicolai Ceausescu, and have seen ’socialism’ (it was called the ‘Socialist Republic of Romania’ at the time) up close. Believe me, call it communism, socialism or Marxism, it is far worse than anything you’ve ever heard from the American media. I could write horror stories about it for the rest of the night and still not give you the whole picture. I would give my life to keep this country from ending up like Romania was then. And that is certainly where an 0bama presidency would take us. Fight on PUMAs and Republicans! Fight as if your life dependS on it - because it does!"

The stakes are very high. Fight On!

The LA Times is on the wrong side of this issue because the public’s right to know the truth is the sole purpose of press freedom.

Most "journalists" would disagree with that statement. For the past 40 years, our journalism schools have been teaching them that the sole purpose of press freedom is for them to drive society toward an ideal. And since the schools are, almost universally, Lefty socialist stinkpots, the ideal they are driving toward is a redistributive, government-runs-everything model.

The “protect the source” issue is from fear of government, right?

If Obama is so wonderful, what would anyone have to fear from him?

The life blood of a news paper is its advertising.
Contact them (companies that advertise in L.A.Times.) Just say I cannot purchase your products as you are supporting Marxist’s. Tell the L.A.Times to release tape in full raw version. Or pull your advertising.

If the MSM would simply report the controversy...as great as a video would be, the cover up may signal that it’s as bad as it gets, so bad it has to be withheld...and their own action of withholding the tape would create the very doubt they are trying to prevent.

The mainstream media has been covering for Obama since the day he entered politics. This incident shouldn’t surprise anybody.

If they will release a full, unedited transcript, tell them you will feature it prominently on FR.

Not sure in what context this was said, but I heard that releasing the tape would be an embarrassment to Obama? Does anyone know if this was said by the LA Times?

Any good sleight-of-hand requires a small distraction in order for the illusion to be successful. So it has become with the Rashid Khalidi story. Attempting to distract concerned voters from the attention given to Obama's close friendship with the former PLO spokesman, 0-bot operatives have fanned out across the web to put forth the narrative that this is no big deal, because McCain was responsible for giving Khalidi's group money through his chaimanship of the IRI. The exact quote of the 0-bot narrative has now appeared on the internet some 534 times (and climbing). The distraction ignores the salient fact: McCain is a known quantity. Obama is not. The American People know John McCain: his military career, his legislative career, and his unquestioned love of country. The same is not known about the Democrat nominee. Obama's past is opacity defined, and the people have a right to know much more about this man than has been gleaned from a media widely viewed as being "in the tank for Obama." ..............

No, I believe you are referring to the statement that releasing his birth certificate would be embarassing to Obama - that might be found in the threads relating to Philip Berg's suit or maybe it's Martin's suit...
