...if there is any way at all to spare this nation an Obama presidency please help. I know this nation does not deserve your intervention. Let a miracle election be a start of a revival that will sustain us for the future. Open the eyes, minds and hearts of those who do not know the Truth. By Your grace, please heal our nation. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
Ditto, and Amen to that, dmanLA!
Amen.
I second that prayer.
Thanks for your prayers...my husband and I drove to Valley Forge this morning. It was beautiful, though cold. We walked up and overlooked the redoubts where the Revolutionary Forces stayed and where George Washington prayed for this country and knelt in prayer ourselves. We prayed that God would not give us Obama as president, though we may as a country deserve him...but to give his servants, John McCain and Sarah Palin, an opportunity to turn this country around for I have no doubt that they love this country and love the Lord.
Pro-lifers are prayin’ hard! I see it everywhere.
Amen. I was also praying today that God would “let this cup pass” if He is willing.
I too wrote a prayer yesterday but then decided to not post it.
Thank you for posting yours.
All Freepers please join us in Prayers for success. We have the faith and we know God’s will will be done.
In the name of our Lord, Jesus, Amen!
In the name of Yahweh, Amen!
In the name of Waheguru, Sat Sri Akaal!
In the name of God, Jai Ram!
However each of us prays to God, let us give Him our thanks today for all that He has blessed us with and we are thankful that He has given us leaders like McCain and Palin to help lead the Republic
I agree in Jesus’ Holy name with your prayer.
Standing with you all in prayer! May God bless John McCain and Sarah Palin and have mercy on our nation! Amen!
Amen.
God bless America.
God Save America.
This needs to show up at DU. You’re preaching to the choir.
The HECK with DU!
I do not wish ill upon anyone for we are all God’s children but some of God’s children are REALLY beginning to annoy me now!
Agreement! Amen!
We ask for mercy for this election. Please don't let evil rule over your people. We ask for a miracle; a John McCain win. We know You hold the hearts of all people in your hands. Please open hearts to the sin of abortion and homosexuality. Open the eyes of people to see how untruthful Obama is. Remind people You are watching us all and that one day all will stand before you to given an accounting of our lives.
Father, the times are uncertain & You may have plans we don't understand. Many have been praying for a revival for a long time. We trust You will do whatever necessary to bring people to You. Help us to stay strong and faithful to the end. No matter what happens, we will love You and honor You, because You are the one and ONLY true God.
Amen
Amen and Amen!

One of the psalms that really challenges me is Psalm 20. David is about to go to war. Before heading out, as was normal for a king, he offers sacrifices to God. Meanwhile, the congregation blesses David in prayer: “May the LORD answer you...May he send you help...May he remember all your sacrifices.”
It’s one of those moments that brings to mind the preparations for battle in movies like The Lord of the Rings. All is quiet, but you know the battle is coming and you’re filled with anticipation. You can almost hear and feel the battle that’s about to begin.
But then the psalm says something surprising:
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
(Psalm 20:7)
Nice thought - unless you’re actually about to do battle. It’s one of those things that’s easy to say until it’s not a theory anymore. Remember that the setting of this psalm is before a real, actual armies were about to clash.
Trust in the Lord!
I join you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you and AMEN!
Amen
Your prayer is beautiful! My sig-other and I took a country ride on our cycle today here in Southeastern IN and GOOD LORD, it was a stunning day. Each time we passed a fellow citizen’s humble abode sporting their support of McCain*Palin, I offered a brief prayer. I felt lifted today knowing others were asking our great God to protect and preserve our liberty and freedom.
God Bless all.
