On Greta Tonight - Inside story on Palin
foxnews ^ | 11/06/2008 | Greta Van Susteren

This is fun for me… (and it should be for you since you get the inside story!) by Greta Van Susteren

Tonight, going ON THE RECORD at 10pm is Elaine Lafferty. Elaine, a Democrat, worked on the Senator McCain/Governor Palin campaign (and yes, was once editor of Ms Magazine….what a combination, huh? .and what else? Elain is my co-author of a book we wrote about 7 years ago…)

Elaine worked on the McCain/Palin campaign and also traveled on the Governor Palin plane during the campaign and worked on a speech with the Governor..so I figured we should find out what she knows about Governor Palin (I already know one thing, Elaine has told me Governor Palin is very smart! I want you to hear from Elaine and I am going to ask follow up questions.)

I gotta tall ya I never really watched Greta till this election. I liked her show and liked how she stuck up for Palin. I’ve been watching Hannity & Colmes less and less and watching Greta more and more.

I watched Greta last night and she was beyond angry and backed Gov. Palin. I knew she would keep the truth up front

They finally let Greta off the ridiculous “crime of the month” beat and let her do some political reporting

I found it refreshing, especially since FOX didn’t try to team her up with some liberal idiot for “fair and balanced” coverage

Alan the Cryptkeeper Colmes has ruined Hannity for me- can’t stand to watch the show anymomre

I had a feeling Greta would be ticked off about this. Unlike that dork O’Reilly who thinks this is all perfectly legitimate news.

Greta has repeatedly stuck up for Sarah, and her interviews with Sarah, Todd, and their friends and family in AK were very revealing and fair-minded (I think she has a crush on Todd, too).

Greta deserves our gratitude. Hers is the only show on Fox News worth watching imo.

Whatever her politics may be, she has turned out to be a fair interviewer. She has been very positive regarding Palin, knowing the media is out to destroy her.

Get a load of the dork from Time whining about Palin’s attempts to ‘discredit’ the media.

Greta is seriously defending her. Even going after Fox.

Politico once again is stupid. Whoever was that young man speaking for Politico said the story is fair game because there is a number of sources for the story.
The number of sources are the media not the people who are talking. What a high schooler this guy.

Yeah he was a tool. He really didn’t have a response to what Greta was saying.
The more I hear people who spent time with her say there is no way this is true the more I think Queer Carl is a total slime. He knows it’s not true and repeats it like it’s fact anyway.

Cameron’s problem was that he reported rumor. O’Reilly was on defense for having Cameron on his show but what Bill didn’t get was this was all rumor. If the name/s of people were used we could slam them and not blindly condemn Cameron, O’Reilly, Shep, Politico etc.
We just want the facts, name sources.

Yes, Greta has been one of the best people on Fox of late. O’Reilly said tonight that he wants Sarah to come on his show to explain.
This is a no win for Sarah. What would she explain? Explain what happened because someone said something about her. Sarah can’t win. She doesn’t go on O’Reilly and he’s mad she goes on the program and defends what, who, why. I can’t stand the media.

That’s what Greta said tonight, what does she do? Sit in front of the camera and say ‘Africa is a continent’.

Frankly BOR just wants ratings.

O’Reilly is an egotistical blowhard. Sarah doesn’t need an appearance on his show and shouldn’t waste her time with him. She has too much class and dignity to worry about defending herself.

There will be justice, however.
