Wow, this made me laugh until I cried. Not because the "musical" itself was funny, but because this is how these "celebrities" decided to respond to prop 8 being passed. Wow. Who would have thought that gay supporters would write a musical about prop 8? I thought homosexuals hated musicals... Anyway, enjoy:
{Video on Website}
This little piece was conceived and written by Hairspray Tony winner Marc Shaiman, and directed by Adam Shankman, who helmed the "Hairspray" movie musical.
The video starred Jordan Ballard, Margaret Cho, Barrett Foa, J.B. Ghuman, John Hill, Andy Richter, Maya Rudolph, Rashad Naylor, Nicole Parker, John C. Reilly, Allison Janney, Kathy Najimy, Jenifer Lewis, Craig Robinson, Rashida Jones, Lake Bell, Sarah Chalke, Jack Black, Neil Patrick Harris, Katharine "Kooks" Leonard, Seth Morris, Denise Piane, Lucian Piane, Richard Read, Seth Redford, Quinton Strack and Tate Taylor.
Wow that reads like an Emmy nomination list!... Er, not really. But hey, Jack Black is, someone, I guess (Don't worry I won't mention how "The Pick of Destiny" tanked at the box office). Anyway, it's very telling to see how these people view the religious right. Apparently, we all dress in black, cherry pick from the Bible, and look to oppress others. I also find it interesting how it's ok to be hypocritical, as long as you are on the fashionable side of the argument. And, since gay is the new black, it's ok to be a hypocrite. So go ahead, hold rallies against hate speech and discrimination, and then go protest in front of the Mormon Temple in LA, call them every name in the book, demand that they no longer have tax exempt status, tell them they are going to hell, etc., etc. You have every right, because Hollywood says gay is cool.

These “celebrities” are all going to hell anyway. Ice water anyone?
Jack Black as Jesus...blasphemy
Anti Christian bigotry is out of hand. Today on Fox & Friends, an atheist called baby Jesus a little dictator.
It was entertaining.
It doesn’t change my mind about gay marriage. There are several hard examples of kids being taught about deviant behavior because we pass “tolerant” laws.
My kids are well adjusted and don’t need to learn about this stuff except by me. I have a friend who is gay. I take my kids to events and we socialize. It doesn’t mean that we have to discuss his sexuality. It means we are friends and we drink beers together. We laugh about crap he ribs me about too many kids and I have him carry my daughters purse.
These no on prop 8 folks care too much about what the government thinks about them. I have said many times, I do not care who the government says I can love, I love who I love. For years the GLBT movement has been about getting government out of the bedroom. Why do they now want the government planted firmly in the bedroom, condoning every position and expression of love?
Well, since Gay is the new black, and gays are so mad at the Christian Religions that shot down Ggay marriage, bashing Christians is the hip thing to do, it’s just as cool as going green!
“For years the GLBT movement has been about getting government out of the bedroom. Why do they now want the government planted firmly in the bedroom, condoning every position and expression of love?”
Very good point.
The choreography was atrocious.
But the set was faaabulous!
Now, that was gay.
With their Christian-bashing, queers prove repeatedly that they are not what H’weird portrays them, i.e., non-threatening, victimized members of society. They are indeed brutal, aggressive to the point of criminals, loud, condescending, intolerant group.
I think their treatment of the Mormons is proof that they are indeed not “non-threatening”
You think they hate Christians, you should see them react to “ex-gay Christians”! Wow, I experienced it first hand while waiting in line to speak at the Evesham “That’s a family” debacle! The guy in front of me was from PFOX (ex-gays) and a lesbian was cussing him when he got up to speak. If you saw me, I am a 235 pound weight lifter and about 6’ tall...after listening to her speak on tolerance, I turned to her and politely said “where is your tolerance that you speak of”? She was quiet for about 10 more seconds and started with the cussing again and I finally said to her “would you like to test my tolerance....if not, then shut the he(( up”! Needless to say she said nothing else the rest of the night....
I am told, as a follower of Christ to “love one another”, but these radical homosexuals are making it very hard....no pun intended... LOL
The Oregon State Univ. basketball coach?
I would love to see the looks on the faces of atheists and those so-called “celebrities” on judgement day.
No, the “comedian”

That I actually do not want to see. I would hope that they "get it" before that time.
Well the video was pretty funny. However, it almost seemed like they had a confusing message. The video seemed more like a parody of both sides of the issue rather than a statement in opposition of prop 8. Unless you went to the Jack Black website and saw all the stuff in support of gay marriage, you may not have realized what side the video was really supporting. Most of the dumb idiots who voted on election day didn’t even understand what their vote for Prop 8 meant. No wonder their effort lost the vote.
In response to gay being the new black. Sometimes I wonder about that. I noticed a “flamer” that works in a bank at the grocery store I work at and he is so NOT fashionable. Yesterday he work a black dress shirt, solid white tie and a GOLD headband across his forhead. Kinda like the kind that Paris Hilton and some of the other “fashion divas” wear. It was so DISGUSTING! Come on...if you are going to be gay, at least have some REAL FASHION! GEEZ
Jack Black will have to blacklist himself since he starred in Nacho Libre, which was directed by a Mormon.
The skit actually shows two religious blacks who are against Prop8. Jack Black obviously didn’t get the memo from the left that you can’t mention blacks voting against gays.
