Human Mathematics is based on linear concepts.. i.e. zero,1 to infinity.. lineal.. Could be the whole system is NOT lineal.. but circular.. or some direction not noticeable in this realm..

Truly, our concept of time passing is linear (timeline.) As I recall, Aristotle used counting to explain the passing of time. And yet space and time may be manifestations or illusions of true "reality." (e.g. Tegmark's Level IV universe)
