We’re in serious trouble, and this is no laughing matter.
The finger pointing has to stop and the dissenters have to find common ground in order to unite and stop this man who is Drunk on Power.

What is destroying the U.S. and has defrauded the public in a free election process is the senility of the collective GOP leadership and national Congressional membership.

They are rolling over and playing dead - as predictable because they lack the courage of their convictions. Their “conservatism” is only skin deep.

Contrast this with the behavior of the Bolsheviks in the Democrat Party when THEY lose!! SCREAMS of outrage!!!! Cries of election fraud!!! Vows to be true to their agenda!!! Political stonewalling and opposition!!

The GOP is simply NOT WORTH SAVING. It is DONE!!! Kaput!!! Dead on Arrival. Only post mortem tremors keep it in office.

We need to replace these frauds and phonies with people who BELIEVE in America and BELIEVE that socialism and globalism are WRONG!!!

I think we will be blessed with Palin and I certainly hope so. Palin with an Eric Cantor, Bobby Jindal or even Fred Thompson as a VP would be awesome.

And communism.

Freeper Alert: Sen. KERRY / Communist Vietnamese Killing Off Christains in Central Highlands... (...with Senator McCAIN (R) in complete agreement with him, is because "Engagement" with Communist Vietnam is better for the people of Vietnam in the long run.)

John McCain, Jack Kemp and Hugo Chavez.

Don't confuse rubblescuttle with facts (McCain also stated he would appoint Roberts/Alito like justices).

BTW - Each and every one of these major MSD (McCain Derangement Syndrome) devotees on FR are also prominent members of “no extreme is extreme enough when it comes to mexicans” crowd. They control every immigration thread with an iron fist and crush anyone who deviates from the most extreme wishes of their devotees.

So make no mistake, their venom at McCain is 95% derived from his position on immigration. I would bet money that if tomorrow McCain became an immigration hawk but didn't change his position on any other issue, he would be their new found savior.

That being said I am not a McCain fan, was crushed when he won the nomination nor do I subscribe to his positions on immigration. But we chastise liberals and the MSM for being duplicitous propagandists and we must hold our own to a higher standard when it comes to the truth.

Or we are no better than them.

Don’t forget those Kool Aid drinkers that put Party over principle either. They are the ones that jacked up the Party in the first place which caused an idiot Liberal to be the standard bearer.

Thanks so much.

Don’t forget the third party tools that threw away their protest votes, thus assisting Obama. Oh yeah, you were one of them.
Me, too! Don't forget me!

Now, do you really believe that my vote for Barr in Texas helped Obama? You really don't understand the electoral college?

If you gave all the 3rd party votes to McCain (even the Green Party votes — hey, why not?) he still would have lost exactly the same. McCain lost the election the day that he said that the economy was strong, and the banks began to crash just hours later. The Republican party spent a year denying that we were in recession, when, in fact, we were. You can fool all the people some of the time and 2008 wasn't one of those times.

I wish people would stop pushing for Bobby Jindal.

In his last year as a congressman, he led the Louisiana delegation in earmarks, and was 14th overall in congressional earmarks...... Hardly a conservative in my book.

Then you own this train wreck too. You voted for an ACLU supporting tool that loves Obama, hates GW and is a surrender monkey to terrorists.

You missed the point, not hard since you overlooked Barr's fine qualities above, by throwing your vote away on a losing pony, or in your case a losing nutcase pony.

You did nothing to stop Obama even though McCain still would not have garnished enough votes with all the third party and green voters. You voted for someone you knew COULD NOT WIN, thus you were okay with having Obama. McCain had a chance of winning. Barr had none.

I voted for small government and fiscal responsibility, which is what our country desperately needs right now. That's what I believe in and that's what I voted for. It Barr perfect? No. Does Barr (and the Libertarian Party) have positions that differ from mine? Yes. Nevertheless, it was the party with the best platform for America at the current time.

What, exactly, did you vote for?

McCain had a chance of winning.
No he didn't. I know it was popular to trash the polls here on Free Republic, but the fact is that after McCain demonstrated his utter disconnect on economic issues, it was over for him — and every single poll in the field showed it. If I wanted to vote for the guy who had the best chance of winning, I could have voted for Obama.

Neither McCain nor Obama had a platform I supported, so I voted for someone else. I own my vote; not you or the Republican Party. Do you really think things would be different under McCain?

Your reliance on personal insults demonstrates how little you there is to your position.

Please, if you're going to mangle my Freeper name, could you at least have the civility to ping me?

So make no mistake, their venom at McCain is 95% derived from his position on immigration. I would bet money that if tomorrow McCain became an immigration hawk but didn't change his position on any other issue, he would be their new found savior.

No, actually, he would have to change his positions on climate change, on bailouts, and on bombing other countries, and even then, he would have to convince me that he's actually serious and not just pandering for my approval.

BTW - Each and every one of these major MSD (McCain Derangement Syndrome) devotees on FR...

Thanks to RINOs like McCain and his detractors here on FR, as well as the mainstream media publicly branding McCain as the representative of the conservative movement, every time I speak up to defend conservative values and policies, I get laughed out of the room.

And, believe me, that is something worth getting "deranged" about.
