Of course the history of pirates operating from African go back to our country’s founding days.

Yeah..., at first it just started to be for Americans only. Then as I thought about it, I did think that foreigners could be listed, too, or the enemy. But, then I wonder about how unwieldy the whole thing would get. I would have to figure out a concise way of listing it, but being obvious, too... about what was being listed.

Well, as I said earlier, it just started out with a “smart-a**” quote from me and then, with a bunch of FReepers giving me stuff to add to it — it turned into the full blown list that it is.

And then, when someone started giving me stuff going back to the early 1900s, I said I didn’t know this was going to go back before World War 2 ... LOL...

But, yes, I figure that FDR and Truman can be put in there. I guess there are events that are not part of World War 2, which happened with each one.

I’ll await other FReepers giving me the info.... :-)

A list of these events going back to FDR is a great history lesson of how our country has been challenged by pirates, outlaws and outlaw nations.

A lot of people would like forget these events and stick their head in the sands of history.

Thanks for starting it and maybe you might post the final up todate results on your home page.

Then you can add events as they happen, and we will see a lot in the next 4-8 years.

This list will be a terrific learning tool and history lesson.

Too many people see one event and think that is the only thing that has happened to America re events like these.

Updating our home page is simple and the past data stays there.

You are correct about not including WWII but including events that led up to it or events not really noted by history like the attacks of Uboats up and down our coasts during WWII against our ships and even harbors. These attacks were kept quiet and many were still classified decades later.

Heck, you might have the basis for an interesting book.

Yeah, you’re right, a great learning tool. Actually, I was sort of amazed myself, after seeing it. I didn’t even realize all that stuff. I did, actually, but not all together in one list. That was the amazing part.

But, a book — nahhhh... that’s way too much... :-)

Books have been based on a lot less that what you have now and will have.

END TIMES, DREAMS, VISIONS, PROPHECY

AND

UFO’S

I have now broken those down into

A) ORIGINAL LARGEST LEAST FREQUENTLY PINGED
B) MORE OFTEN PINGED
C) MORE OFTEN PINGED
D) MOST FREQUENTLY PINGED, SMALLEST BUDDY LIST

Anything else is a temporary list. More or less.

There are some Calvinists I respect that I often ping as a group—out of my memory in my head of their screen names.
