"AGGRESSIVE FIGHTING FOR THE RIGHT IS THE NOBLEST SPORT THE WORLD AFFORDS."

Like Roosevelt, Podhoretz prefers periods to question marks, with declarative books such as "Making It," "World War IV" and "The Bloody Crossroads." Since leaving liberalism in the 1970s, he has not doubted his turn right or hesitated to confront former friends, especially in defense of Israel.

He is 79, proud and satisfied, even with Democrat Barack Obama in the White House. But one issue nags him past the point of thought, a disappointment he brands by punctuation. It provides the title for his new book, "Why Are Jews Liberals?"

It’s simply because many Jewish people are afraid of the “Christian right” taking over. Many Jews think Christians believe they are damned because they do not worship Jesus.

So basically, many Jews feel a disrespect from Christians and fear living as a very small minority in a non-secular world.

Funny & ironic. Maybe someday soon, they will figure out that “The Two Witnesses” spoken of in the book of Revelation are “The Jews” & “The Christians,” witnessing against the false prophet Mohammed & his satanic religion of Islam. Do secular Jews *really* not care that ZerO is so obviously anti-Israel?.

My take is that, in general, American Jews who have visited Israel and/or who have known relatives in Israel are much more likely to oppose O and his administration's attitudes toward Israel than others.

It has been mentioned several times here on FR that Americans abroad in Israel voted 75-25% for McCain vs. Obama in the last presidential election, just about the opposite of the reputed Jewish vote in the US. From what I understand, Republicans Abroad in Israel did a superb job in organizing and orchestrating the pro-McCain vote there last year.

The simple reason it has happened is FDR.

Jews are overwhelmingly social liberals, so they tend to vote for the Demwits, and tend to be members of The Party generation after generation. It isn’t a revelation that they do this every election cycle, and yet there are Jew-hating weirdos even here on FR who invariably bring up the completely unsurprising 78 per cent of the Jewish vote having gone to Obama this past November. It’s just another hydra head of the “blame the Jews” faux mentality common to skinheads and Muzzies.

Funny how there’s so much anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-marriage (”by the power vested in me by the state of [whatever]”), crap soaked through decades of mass media, eh? Wouldn’t be any leftists in the entertainment industry by any chance, would there? It ain’t about Jews, it’s about leftists.
