Why this man feels the need to fire at other talk show hosts on the Conservative side is anyone's guess, This is coming from a former huge fan of Savage, until he started daily criticizing Rush, Hannity and the others, then I hit the off button...sorry if it offends anyone..(Audio from tonights show mocking Beck)

But Savage is so off-putting and covetous of his more successful competitors that he has become completely ineffectual. While he was beating his chest and throwing feces out his being banned from a place he had to intentions or plans to visit Beck and others built the case, developed the following and succeeded.
I gave up on Savage a couple of years ago. He went off his meds way to often.

He calls Rush the empty golf bag, Hannity the wall banger and Levin the Lawwyah,
Then whines when no one says anything when he is banned by the British Government
I stopped listening to him a couple of years back. Definitely something wrong there.
Savage is losing viewers almost as fast a BOR!
Savage got his break at KSFO in San Francisco by in and off mike bullying of Jim Eason. Jim was a very conservative pioneer of the talk format who didn't have a mean bone in his body. Eason retired when Savage began the same tactics on Jim's daughter who was his producer. I still miss listening to Jim, but would walk ten blocks out of my way to miss Savage.
I used to be the BIGGEST Michael Savage fan. And now I’m not. It’s 2 bad, cuz he has SOOOO much talent. He’s poignant and funny.
And he’s abusive, and mean. And he’s been blessed with this GREAT family —there he is suuuuper lucky.
And now he’s just drinking it all away, and...not being nearly as good as he could be.
I don’t really think he likes his listeners. He wants to be KNOWN, and...well...now he has that.
I don’t really listen to Rush much (I only really like Daniel Lapin and a couple others), but Rush has soooo much more CLASS than Mike.
Mike has more or less gone and pissed it mostly away. I don’t even think he really ENJOYS being on the air anymore. Have you heard any of the stupid pre-recorded interviews?

Having listened to Savage, here in SF, before he went national, I go back quite a ways with him. I long ago came to the conclusion, that Michael Weiner, PO'd at the Berkeley intellectuals that rejected him, for a promotion at UC Berkeley, decided to extract a measure of revenge by developing a character that would run them into the ground. He named that character, Michael Savage, and he has been laughing alll the way to the bank ever since.
Exactly right gaijin, Savage pissed all this away for no reason what so ever..
And reading the comments here, just about everyone is saying the same thing...
Would love to hear your evidence that Savage EVER had a decent thing to say about ANY other talk show host. He has been relentlessly nasty for years. Now he whines that none of them came to his rescue.
Does not play well with other children,
refuses to share his toys.

Everything was fine —at first.
Then he got it into his head that he was Jackie Gleason, or something, and he got to drinking as he was up there, joking around. Finally Savage got heckled once or twice, and then in a flash he turned into a mean drunk:
He started insulting his audience, telling them if they had SOMETHING IN THEIR DEPENDS (under-garments).
From there it just devolved into a complete boondoggle —he is NOT good for live comedy.
PS - He doesn’t actually know very much about chemistry (think STEREOISOMERS is some complex concept).
PSS - He feigns hostility to SF pol Gavin Newsom, but if given half a chance SAVAGE WILL TOTALLY KISS NEWSOM’S ASS. I’m serious —even for a person who has no particular problem with Newsom it appears clearly OBSEQUIOUS.

Savage is coming off as a first class piker
If Savage wasn’t such a loudmouth jerk maybe he wouldn’t have lost his face time on the air waves.

I enjoy listening to Savage, but for entertainment only. He hates everyone but himself, and he becomes a broken record, but I do find him entertaining at times, and he is anti leftist.
Michael Savage contributed money to Jerry Brown’s campaign, and his son contributed money to Gavin Newsom’s campaign. Who’s the phony conservative?
Wiener is a narcissistic nut job. His jealousy of Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck combined with his other mental problems will eventually push him completely over the edge.
