Hot off the press: Full text of Pelosi HC bill
The Patriot Room ^ | October 29, 2009 | Clyde Middleton

Here's the Pelosi Heathcare Bill in full text.

The bill is 1,990 pages long and contains a separate 13-page bill to repeal the sustainable growth rate caps on Medicare spending. The Bill will cost more than $200 billion and is not paid for, which will break Obama’s promise to Congress during his speech.

The bill contains the word “shall” 3,425 times. Though Steny Hoyer just said the bill was open and transparent, they prevented the American people from attending their publicity rally by checking IDs and keeping people out.

Im wondering.. since we are not going to have a choice in this matter.. what are the ways we can ignore/oppose/resist it.

Its obvious they could care less about what people think, so its time to start thinking about ways AROUND this bill when it passes.

SEC. 112. WELLNESS PROGRAM GRANTS, which is for small business, does not become effective to July 2010, even though they are trying to make the overall plan effective in January?

Simple.

1st Amendment: freedom of association. You can’t be compelled by gov’t to associate with assigned healthcare providers.
4th Amendment: security of one’s papers. You can’t be compelled by gov’t to reveal your private health records.

Start there.

Oh just ducky, they want to take over dental insurance, too (down the road). Check out page 111:

(f) REPORT REGARDING INCLUSION OF ORAL
2 HEALTH CARE IN ESSENTIAL BENEFITS PACKAGE.—Not
3 later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this
4 Act, the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall
5 submit to Congress a report containing the results of a
6 study determining the need and cost of providing acces7
sible and affordable oral health care to adults as part of
8 the essential benefits package.

You won't be able to get around paying for it. You don't have to use it but you will still have to pay for it.

Demand it be read into the Congressional Record. That will take around 47 hours.

SEC. 114. STATE HEALTH ACCESS PROGRAM GRANTS grants money to states to establish programs to expand access to affordable health care coverage for the uninsured populations in that State in a manner consistent with reforms to take effect under this division in Y1.
....
(b) TYPES OF PROGRAMS.—The types of programs for which grants are available under subsection (a) include the following:
....
(4) TRANSPARENT MARKETPLACE PROGRAM.— Transparent marketplace that provides an organized structure for the sale of insurance products such as a Web exchange or portal.

So that means a state can apply for a grant to simply set up a web portal? My guess would be that democratic states would be award a lot more money than republican states.

Here’s a fun one:

1 ‘‘(4) PREFERENCE.—In approving an independ
2 ence at home medical practice, the Secretary shall
3 give preference to practices that are—
4 ‘‘(A) located in high-cost areas of the
5 country;
6 ‘‘(B) have experience in furnishing health
7 care services to applicable beneficiaries in the
8 home; and
9 ‘‘(C) use electronic medical records, health
10 information technology, and individualized plans
11 of care.

The old model of a country doctor making house calls is history.

I think Mark Levin said on his show that his Landmark Legal Foundation was planning to bring legal challenges to the individual mandate. Not sure what else Mark’s said about it, because I only get to hear bits and pieces of his show.

Just in time for Halloween! It’s the Pelosi-Kevorkian-Mengele “healthcare” plan, written by an elitist cabal in obfuscated legalese.

Heck, it takes my 3GHz quad-core computer over 30 seconds just to search it for one word! ...

Oh yeah, and then there is the recent thread about miss-spelling words in bills so that word search won’t work. Our government working with our best interests at heart.
