They should be thanked for their display of conviction, patriotism, courage, and for voting their principles while under considerable political pressure from the Marxist wing of the Democrat Party. These 39 Democrat representatives voted to respect the Constitution, respect individual and property rights, and voted against further expansion of an already out-of-control federal government...

Just one Repub voted for the bill? According to 0bama, that makes this a resounding “Bi-partisan” victory... In fact, the Huffington Post is actually billing it as that!

So - I currently pay for my health coverage out of my pocket (health insurance), and that of my wife and children. Should I just plan to cancel my coverage and jump on Sugar Daddy’s plan? My employer likely would not be on the hook, so what is to loose (other than my dignity and morals)?

Doesn't matter to me.

The democrat party is the party of communists hell bent on destroying that which I swore an oath to defend.

Call me a cynic,,but I think Pelosi knew she had the votes and “allowed” the few to to vote nay to save their political hides.

I’m sure this has been done on both sides..but it disgusts me.

Dear Blue Dogs:

Thank you for casting an obvious vote upholding the Constitution. Now switch parties or go to Electoral Hades.

Blah! Don't thank 'em. They would have voted for it if they HAD to. She secured enough votes and gave them COVER so they didn't have to. They'll pay her back later.

Try cross-referencing their votes on cap & trade and see if you still want to thank them.

Blue Dogs my ass. Any number of them - take Chet Edwards for example - would have voted for it if their vote had been needed to pass it.

I'd be very careful on attributing the stated reasons above as the reasons why they voted against the Bill, afterall how can you really remain part of a Party that continually runs roughshod over the Constitution, has little if any respect for individual and property rights, and continues to seek absolute power over the people in the form of suffocating bureaucratic neverending nightmarish laws and regulations. Methinks they probably have other nefarious reasons for voting against the Bill.

Dear Blue Dogs,

It was nice of Nancy to let you guys off the hook once she knew she had the votes to pass this communist garbage bill.

I guess now you can go to your conservative districts and pretend to be one of them. Great head fake. But, you aren’t fooling everyone.

Your Friend,
A true conservative who isn’t buying it...

If it has a D behind the name, you are gone...

Please...

It is time for 535 new ones. And if Chairmen Steele had any balls he would ask for the fascia resignation of all GOP members and look for a new slate.

Give me 535 small business owners in "Any Town USA" that meet a payroll, and know the Accounting Equation. They have more common sense in their pinky fingers than whole darn bunch of those morons we got now.

"Call me a cynic,,but I think Pelosi knew she had the votes and “allowed” the few to to vote nay to save their political hides."

That is precisely what happened with these "blue mutts". To think otherwise, naive. To believe even one single word from their filthy lying mouths, inexcusable.

Not so fast. Did the Queen give them permission as they may would face defeat in 2010, as she did with cap and tax?

More like they were given permission to vote against in order to keep their congressional seat.

If needed there is no doubt any one of them would have switched to vote Yes.
