Obama invites a nightmare (Remember Beslan:Thirty-five bomb-laden Muslim terrorists stormed a crowd

The storyline is hauntingly familiar: terrorist detainees were moved to a major city to await trial. While there, fellow Islamic terrorists decided to make a daring and dastardly attempt to gain their release, not by attacking the well-protected courtroom or the heavily guarded detention facility (they are bloodthirsty but they are not stupid), but by going for a more tantalizing target. Thirty-five bomb-laden Muslim terrorists stormed a crowded middle school full of parents, teachers, and children. By doing so, they immediately gained what they desired most: the eyes of a watching world paralyzed with fear at what they might do. And the world had reason to fear. Over the course of this three-day massacre, the terrorists barricaded doors and tied up authorities in "negotiations" that were used only to buy them the time they needed to coldly execute the stronger men hostages, rape young girls in front of their watching mothers, and rig explosives throughout the complex to ensure that when the authorities stormed the building there would be massive casualties. This horrific drama played out in the quiet Russian town of Beslan just five short years ago. In the end, 394 lay dead (over half of them children) with another 704 injured. And stunningly, Barack Obama has just invited the same carnage to our shores.

In Massachusetts, we are required to submit a request in writing for a license to carry a concealed weapon. While I feel this is unconstitutional, it was either write the request or not get a concealed carry permit.

I applied shortly after this incident, and here is an excerpt of what I wrote:

To the Chief of Police:

I wish to apply for a Class A Firearm License and wish to explain why my application for this permit should be approved.

I currently do not own a gun, and my entry into the ranks of gun-owners has been drawn out and protracted due to other overriding interests and issues in my life that have taken priority, and it has been several years since I decided that I wanted to own a gun.

In that time, I have seen the events of 9/11, the rise of anti-Americanism in the Middle East, and recently, events in Russia, where the school was taken over by extremists with the resulting loss of innocent life. I understand that this is America and that things are different here, our society is different and these things are less likely to happen in our country.

But I (and many others) thought the same thing about an event like 9/11. And if we begin to see events like we are seeing more frequently in other parts of the world such as the murders at the school in Russia, I want to be able to protect myself and my family, should the situation arise.

I plan on purchasing a handgun, and I also plan to take courses on handgun safety and personal protection. Additionally, to improve my capability with the weapon, I am going to investigate the possibilities for engaging in competitive shooting at the gun club I join.

I would be grateful if you would grant me the legal privilege to carry a firearm, so I can be prepared, should the situation arise.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

LOL...when I went to pick my license up, the cop said (not derisively) "Oh yeah, you're the guy who wrote the letter about the terrorists..."

When we lived in Germany in the 70s our young sons were enrolled in the local American kindergarten and grade school. The Beider-Meinhoff gang was pretty active and brutal then. My constant fear was that they would occupy the school and harm the children. There is no faster way to force American families to leave any country than to threaten their children.

There is no statue of limitations on document forgery and being an undocumented illegal alien. You might think that you can keep the truth from coming out, or the punishment from being dealt. But like our pie-hole, that is just an opinion.

Consider the following very cafefully;

Treason; Offense of attempting to overthrow the government of one’s country or of assisting its enemies in war. In the U.S., the framers of the Constitution defined treason narrowly — as the levying of war against the U.S. or the giving of aid and comfort to its enemies — in order to lessen the possibility that those in power might falsely or loosely charge their political opponents with treason.

The excesses of the Revolution prompted the framers of the Constitution to restrict the definition of treason to “levying war against” the United States and providing “aid and comfort” to its enemies, and to require the testimony of two witnesses “to the same overt act” and the establishment of treasonous intent for conviction. They limited punishment to the person charged, and abjured the attainder of the traitor’s relatives or heirs.

Requiring ONLY two witnesses for the charge of treason. Aid and comfort to the enemy, such as the Taliban or Al_Queda, charging soldiers with Court Martial for given an enemy combatant a fat lip.

So after he leaves office one way or another, the ramifications are still going to be there. This issue will not go away and as the fraud of global warming, the bail-outs comes out. So will the Obama’s treason.

I don’t think the Muzzies will do anything to inconvenience or embarrass their friend in the White House. He’s just given them a public civilian trial where they will get to bash the evil Americans for “torturing” them, and (by promising that they will be convicted)_ he and Holder have made it easy for them to beat the rap on a technicality.
