Michael Steele Must Go Immediately
From SeaTto Shining Sea ^ | 1/08/10 | Purple Mountains

Ordinarily I would not want to take the advice of a leftist like David Korn, especially since I was moved to such optimism when Michael Steele was first elected to head the Republican National Committee. However Steele has not only been a failure, he has been a laughing stock and a buffoon in this job. He has also aroused my ire by making it clear that he has no intention of paying any attention to the Tea Party movement or of supporting any Republicans except blue-blood RINO's. We need to get rid of him fast in order to take advantage of the desperate straits the Democrats have put themselves in this year.

It also appears that I am not alone when I decided to stop contributing to the RNC until they stop supporting liberals and RINO's when they should be neutral in primary races and support conservatives like Marco Rubio in Florida and Scott Brown in Massachusetts when and if they become the party's nominee.

Stop even mentioning THIRD PARTY, thats the libs only hope of defeating us in November. Wake up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say that the only reason 3rd lose is because of us. We have been settling for RINOs as long as a Democrat did not win. Me, I no longer care. We are in this mess because of RINOs and it is our fault because we have not had the backbone to support true Conservatives because we have only cared about who won a seat not what they would do once they got there. From now on, if the GOP runs a RINO, screw it. Let the RINO lose or vote 3rd party. I will no longer vote for ANY RINO even if it means giving a Democrat a seat.

Haley is my Governor and I like him... but he is just another moderate corporatist.

It is important to convey a moderate tone leading up to the special election in Massachusetts on January 19. This is a tactical move, not a strategic move.

That said, we have bigger issues with Michael Steele because he (1) drifts in his talking points, (2) lets anyone get him off-topic, and (3) can’t close a sale.

“We are in this mess because of RINOs “

We are in this “mess” because of the people we have selected to represent us. Better qualified people have chosen not run or have been unable to be elected. Democrats seem to be much more successful in electing people of their ideology.

Perpetuating the ‘Rockefeller Wing’ and its assault on the GoP that used to have a set.

Steele is a DNC plant. No one could be less effective than he has been. Ignoring the Tea Party movement and supporting big tent RINOs is a recipe for disaster. I, like everyone else, have stopped sending money to the party and now support candidates directly.

Look for more subterfuge by conservative posers running for office and then making a big left turn once installed. Credentials matter, alliances matter, character matter and it's critical we do not allow the DNC to divide and distract the party further.

Dump Steele—he’s part of the Problem. Let his demotion be the start of the Reforms needed within the GOP. The Party must dump the “Big Tent” and go for Big Ideas. That’s what won in the past. Look to the Gipper for your roots. Sarah Palin is the future and the Tea Party movement will sweep you into power if you only let it. Dump the RINOs, Cast out te corrupted, and embrace the cross.
