BROWN LIKELY WINS
The Politicizer ^ | 1/19/2009

As of 9:08 pm, Republican Scott Brown is winning bellweather towns of Gardner and Fitchburg. These towns have similar voter makeup to the rest of the state and were within one point of the result 2006 Senate race. Brown is also winning the majority of the towns on Cape Cod, historically a Democratic stronghold and the home of former Sen. Ted Kennedy.

Many towns that Obama won easily in 2008 are also going to Brown. The North Shore town of Salisbury went 54-45 for Obama; with 100% reporting, 64-35 Brown. Western Massachusetts towns – historically a Democratic stronghold – that Obama won handily (75%) are going 60-65% for Coakley.

Majority of Worcester, Boston not reporting yet. But general trend of towns compared to 2008 presidential results indicates low turnout for Martha Coakley. Likely win for Scott Brown.

Well, at this point, even many liberal editorials state that, for the Dems to push healthcare through Congress quickly in order to prevent Scott Brown’s contribution, would be political suicide. Pelosi knows that her seat is safe since San Francisco is completely out of touch with the rest of the nation and Reid knows that he is toast already, so they’ll try to push it through but there are a lot members who aren’t going to be so anxious to alienate the electorate back home because they will surely lose their seat.

Coakley concedes is all over twitter. This is AMAZING if true. DUmmy funnies are going to be soooo delicious tomorrow. I saw one poster saying they should “threaten WWWIII if the tea bag***s try to seat their guy.” They’ve come unhinged once again tonight.

It will show to one and all that those in power in the democrat party absolutely do not care about the votes or will of the people.

Wow! Congratulations to Scott Brown. Without a doubt, he worked hard for this. He got the grassroots motivated. Some people might say that Coakley dropped the ball, but this guy worked his ass off. Also, congratulations to all the conservatives in MA. Way to go! And I love the fact that Brown did it with only the base. The RNC was absent. We the people got this guy in.
