I was watching Fox news and as they were starting a story ob 0bama gearing up missile defense in the gulf the screen blanked at 9:56 AM. I've got Comcast. PMSNBC, and CNN are working fine here. I lost selective channels not all of them
It took 11 minutes to finally load Free Republic.
Is this happening to anybody else out there?

A few days ago FOX and several other networks were off the air on my standard cable but I never lost them on the digital channels.
I’ve got the rest of the lame stream media. All the fox news channels are off air here. Very strange.

Same thing happened a few days ago here south of Tucson. Heard a helicopter circling and checked to see if it was black, but it was just the usual green & white border patrol. Also, the local grocers still had an ample supply of tinfoil, so I figured move along, nuthin here......
There was a running thread about this a couple of hours ago; it appears you're far from alone....but personally I've had no problem with FR this morning.
Fox News ok here in South Carolina.
Its not the black helicopters you gotta worry about, its the white NHL choppers that are a real threat.

No problem with fox but FR was slow to load.
We swtiched to DirecTv because Dish would not carry the Fox Business channel.
I’m in Tn. as well. It’s due to the cold, snow and ice.
Did your spouse use parental controls to block it? ;-)
Comcast is great here. The fastest internet connection I’ve ever used.
