Economy Kept On Life Support While Global Governance Is Organized
Neithercorp Press ^ | 03/10/2010 | Giordano Bruno

Winter is slowly melting away here in the U.S., and Spring will soon be upon us. Wall Street is currently flush with delight at the year long run of the stock market (driven by fiat bailouts), which at first glance appears to be doing quite well, though international incidences such as those in Dubai and Greece have revealed how shaky the market actually is in the face of any unhealthy news. In the meantime, the dollar, recently on the edge of detrimental value loss, has made a semi-miraculous recovery in the span of a few months, especially as the Euro suffers. Official employment numbers, despite the continuous loss of jobs monthly, have somehow fallen and are for the moment stabilized. Is it time for America to dust off the old credit cards and return to the wild and rollicking carefree spending days of pre-2007? Perhaps not…

While the mainstream media puts on the recovery song and dance, the fundamental problems of the collapse remain the same, and in some cases are growing ever more precarious. Subsections of the public, unaware of the real issues at hand, are holding a misguided jubilee in the tranquil eye of a hurricane, wrongly assuming that the storm has passed.

Here in Chitown, spring lighted gently down one day last week ... forget which day.

I think you posted a good and informative article.
I am, however, in the pessimist camp along with people like Gerald Celente.
The Marxist in the media, administration, and the crooks on Wall Street are giving us smoke and mirrors.

Thank you so much for your help, I’ve looked at some other articles, and added a few, but am unsure which are the best. I know that healthcare is the big issue right now, but I think it’s only one facet of a bigger takeover.

The writer means it. Whether his analysis is correct, hard to know. I believe that the in-crowd knows how a magician manipulates our attention. While we are watching the health care show, they are busy doing something less obvious.

For example, U.S. government is insisting on electronic medical records for everybody. And you may have seen biometric IDs for all U.S. sheeple. They know we can’t play defense all the time. They mean to wear us out. We need a good offense, but what’s our target. If Congress, then the next Congress may have little power. Soap box, voting box, jury box, ammo box. We may need all four to win this.

Know who your friends are. Churches and small communities can stand together.

There’s good analysis in this article. There’s also some conjecture but that’s what we have to do sometimes when the govt. and media keep us in the dark.

I feel that this author is correct also, which is why I have been hoping for some response (Thanks to everyone so far).

If this comes swifter than not, what can we do to best organize ourselvs in communities? I know a bit about preparing goods and such, but not about communal protection. I’ve read “One Second After,” and am now reading “Patriots,” but I feel a bit apprehensive about the future still.

Have you seen those GE adds with the patient suddenly exposed to an auditorium full of doctors? Kind of ironic, I think. But anyway, a large fraction of the verbiage in the "stimulus bill" was taken up with describing the establishment of such a data base. It didn't take much of a tin hat to see the implication that if the data base was there, it would be used, and it would in fact be an instrument of government control. ( Litttttle tiny tin hat. ) I presume that GE is enjoying the largesse of the stimulus bill, even if the news of this is not coming to me in any other way.

I just came from a visit with friends, their daughter and husband have been living in their home for 18 months and not making any payments. They have spent all this time negotiating a better loan and Country Wide wouldn’t deal with them. They are walking away from it.

I’ve heard of other people in the same position and I’m thinking that there are a whole lot more people like this that they haven’t foreclosed on yet and just like the job market, it is worse than the numbers show because they have delayed the reckoning.

We’ve been in this NWO takeover for a long time. We just didn’t see it. Obama and his hirelings really woke people up. Fr Malachi Martin (RIP) has been writing and talking about this for decades. I question, "the meantime, the dollar, recently on the edge of detrimental value loss, has made a semi-miraculous recovery in the span of a few months, especially as the Euro suffers."

Last I heard, countries are still talking of moving away from the dollar. Hardly a "miraculous recovery."

Economy Kept On Life Support While Global Governance Is Organized

Like vultures circling a dying beast.

There's one thing that the carrion eaters fail to take into consideration though, and that is even when our economy may be sick, we are not.

Our country has been through this before and we have learned survival skills from our predecessors.

I just have the feeling that the worms will be feasting on the NWO vultures before it's all said and done, at least for this go-round.

Unquestionably a post-worthy and thought-worthy article. It happens to correspond fairly closely to my own views, and the author makes a pretty well argued case whether I happen to agree with him or not.

Health care is but one issue over which much thrashing is occurring, and is only one of several aspects in the larger consideration of whether the US/world is hurtling towards the proverbial one-world government. It is of course more jarring for us because it’s so bloody contrary to our founding priciples whereas much of Europe is happily well-embarked down that particular highway with their well-entrenched socialist systems. Whether we will ultimately fall under this form of government, indeed way of life, is part of the nauseating uncertainty most of us feel at present.

That’s a great post. The linked article contains plenty of unique information. We can read it and decide for ourselves.

Here’s a repost of one of my comments: quick and dirty cause and effect notes. This is what eventually happens without a manufacturing base adequate for providing government revenues. Notice the circular nature of the downward spiral.

We saw that new unemployment claims for a couple of recent weeks were nearly half a million each. Government will spend more on social programs as a result, which prompts government to borrow more money.

When the deficit goes high enough to cause investor fears of risk, investors demand higher yields. Interest rates are hiked for the purpose of selling more bonds.

Rising interest rates, which cause deficits to rise more, which cause interest rates to rise, and so on. Less borrowing by businesses and consumers, resulting in decreasing tax revenues, stock market declines and more unemployment. Government borrows more. Interest rates rise.

The government cannot simply pull itself again by firing up the money “printing presses,” as it did in the past. That would require a healthy enough manufacturing base to provide revenues with value based on products. Without it, such excess money is worthless.

Eventually, the government will be forced to make deep cuts in spending: huge numbers of jobs. The economic crash would continue more drastically from there.

And BTW, you’ve probably read about Greece. Britain has default worries now, too. When enough investors see no other way but default in one country, bonds (led by treasuries) can collapse in other countries.

More serious to us than the Greek economy, even more than our own unemployment and dismal manufacturing situation is the present representation we have.

The idea that they are talking about such craziness as the Slaughter rule when the Constitution plainly states that such legislation must be voted on with yeas and nays and the votes recorded...

Why do people not realize that this is the road to ruin, that if this sort of thing is tolerated for one instant, we open the door to oppressive government, if not dictatorship.

There’s a bright side to Greece. Without this upheaval, this slap from reality, the supposed free ride would be continuing. Even if Greece defaults its probably worth it for the end result. I do not agree at all that England is anywhere near default. A lower debt rating in the case of a sovereign nation only means the increase chance of default grew from one remote chance to one that’s slightly less remote.

On unemployment numbers—Freepers may be interested to know that the most publicized unemployment number (currently 9.7% I believe) does not include all folks collecting unemployment insurance.

Yeah, they forgot to tell you that.

The figure only includes people collecting unemployment under the normal state rules, and does not include folks covered by the extensions passed by Congress.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics could argue that this is an “apples to apples” comparison to periods before the extensions existed—and they have a point.

But the new reality in the Obama economy is that folks have been and will continue to be unemployed for years—and the numbers are hiding that. For the foreseeable future there will be many millions of unemployed not reflected in that figure—and of course that dosen’t include the underemployed, the self-employed with substantially lower income, etc.

Communitarianism is the theory behind the emerging global government. It over rules all US law and replaces it with communitarian supremacy of law (EU, WTO, NAFTA, etc.) It’s been introduced under treaties (Law of the Sea, Kyoto, etc) and under the Administrative Procedures Act of1946 (agency regulations). The blueprint for changing the global landscape is called UN Local Agenda 21. http://nord.twu.net/acl/agenda21.html

The global system is based in self appointed community councils who direct all private and public resources. According to the gurus (and yes Clinton is one of them)all rights to privacy and property are barriers to peace and global prosperity; communitarianism promises all wealth will be gathered and redistributed amongst the poor nations who suffered so long from Western greed and gluttony. This is why Seattle had the new “right” to enter our homes without a legal search warrant. Under communitarian law, ALL individual rights must be “balanced” against the rights of the undefinable, vague community, who have their own new police force introduced under Clinton, called community policing. (I have many recent quotes of Clinton on the ACL homepage, http://nord.twu.net/acl/index.html

I am opposed to elimination of US law without a constitutional amendment approved by 3/4ths of the state legislatures, as per our constitutional requirements. If this isn’t what you wanted or you want to know more, we just restocked 2020: Our Common Destiny. That’s the most simplified explanation of the system we’ve written. http://nord.twu.net/acl/books.html I also highly recommend you read our Anti Communitarian Manifesto, http://nord.twu.net/acl/manifesto, available free online or in hardcopy collector’s editions. Part I will be difficult since you have no education in philosophy, but please plod through even where you don’t understand it. In the end you will, I promise.

...our thesis against communitarianism has been studied by university students AND professors for eight years... and no one has ever rebutted us. Our work has been introduced in Vassar College Seminars on Quality of Life, it’s been included in National Association of Scholars research into communitarian residence life movements. I can assure you I have established myself globally as a credible researcher, I am the expert, and my audience is world wide.

There are many who don't want to realize it. There are many others who are aggravated to the extent, that they're wanting a fight: economic and/or otherwise. I'm interested in an economic fight. Encourage the government to spend as much as possible while avoiding revenue-generating personal expenses and becoming more self-sufficient. We need new business, academic and political leadership.

There is a series (a trilogy) of books written by our very own freeper Travis McGee that will both prepare you and scare the crappola out of you but you need to read them all:

EFAD. You can read segments online before you spend any $$ but trust me, it's a must and the writing is incredible.

Finally, if I may be so immodest, I suggest you read my freeper home page and take a look at my reading list. There are some very good "survival books" presented therein.

Read “The Modern Survival Manual” by Fernando Aguirre, based on life in Argentina after the 2001 bank collapses and near societal collapse. It’s best preparation for the most likely scenarios we’ll face.
