The health (s)care bill last night was actually bi-partisan—bi-partisan opposition, that is. These are the 34 Dems who voted no yesterday. And if any of them are in your district, call and thank them. They deserve it:

John Adler was early in telling constituents ata Town Hall that he got the message and would vote no.
I am looking forward to his replacement by Republican John Runyan in November.
Don’t think even for a second about leaving democrats in power. Any of them. Adler was a long time liberal dem state legioslator who hopefully is holding this traditionally republican seat for only one term.

Kratovil isn’t sensible he voted with Pelosi lock-step. He was given cover since his constituents are POed that he sold himself as a blue-dog but isn’t even close to being one. At a town hall somebody hung a dummy of him in effigy here in MD. He’s still toast IMO.

Glenn Nye voted “NO”. Not my district but it was nice to see him vote what the people wanted.

I agree. They were permitted to vote No to save their jobs. As long as they have a D after their names, they are not to be applauded. Remember they all voted for Obama and Pelosi as speaker.

Artur Davis must have been the only member of the Congressional Black Caucus to vote against it. He is running for Governor of Alabama, and knows if he voted for it he would not have a prayer.
This wouldn't have happened 30 years ago — the camouflage would have worked then. I saw enough of it to know.
