It's no joke. It's a way to achieve one-party patronage rule and make it permanent. Think Chicago, or Peronist Argentina, or Mexico from 1917 on, from coast to coast, at the point of a gun. Labor admits to using this very same gambit in Britain (no longer Great). It can happen here.

Why do you think there is nothing in the census form package to either ask if the respondent is a citizen, nor to state that they must be one to be counted.
Nothing.
So they are all getting counted, and the entire (half of the question space on my form) nit-pick about race, what brand of spanish-speaker you are, etc. is about gerrymandering the districts so the race blocs (especially certain groups) can vote to negate the other people of other races in a majority of districts in some areas where the mix will allow that. It will also tell the GOvernment where to offer the best perks for ethnic groups to imporve the 'mix'.
Thank God we are 'blessed' with some of the worst winters in the lower 48. It keeps the riff-raff out.

Probably trying to build on the momentum of the death of The Chappaquiddick killer. (Never let a good crisis...)
The blog writer joins Free Republic on Thursday. Then on Friday he posts the following: the fringe-left elite “know” exactly how they are going to place a lock on all future national elections and in light of that knowledge they are celebrating early. Their big “secret weapon...”? So you fall for the teaser and click on the link. It takes you to his blog where you find the "big secret weapon" is amnesty. This is like telling a group of nuns and priests that if they attend your secret meeting you will reveal a startling new truth about the Pope. They show up at your secret meeting and you inform them the Pope is Catholic.
It is a secret weapon in that the GENERAL PUBLIC does NOT know that this is their end game, and has been for a long time.
We understand it here...but the public at large does not.
I guess if dem’s answer to impossible polls is amnesty - it’s better than my guess - amnesty enslaves and bankrupts - but it’s better than human cattle cars and trains running to camps.
When the author mentioned the name 'Alderman Danny Solis', I started to pay attention, as this worthy fellow's main job is 'community organization', much the same as obama's only 'real' job. Their business is the balkanization of communities along racial/ethnic/linguistic lines and establishing the party organizational structure in these communities, block by block. A permanent democrat majority in each community is the only goal. That they even think that they can get away with this on a national level is pretty creepy. Many many people have known about this for ever; it's an ancient governing technique used by tyrants throughout history. They just don't really believe that it can happen here, even as they watch all too predictable events unfold right in front of their eyes.
There is a creepy term that was used by television advertisers many years ago, which unfortunately I can't remember. It is an acronym of a phrase which describes a successful campaign's effect on the viewer. Something like 'paying close attention, but unconscious'. Their decision making processes have been put under remote control and they neither know or care. So this article, although almost cliche on FR, is still a 'secret' to the voters at large. They seem to prefer it that way.

The democrats are counting on the sub-class of US citizens who are permanent wards of the government to save their collective behinds this coming November at the polls. They are the Americans who depend on the government for their very existence. They vote for democrats because democrats promise them their continued dole every month. The millions of illegal aliens, once granted citizenship, will, for the most part, join the millions in this sub-class and add their votes to the democrat side of the ballot. THAT is the reason for the Comprehensive Immigration Bill… or the New Amnesty Bill.
