The Republicans are missing; all that shows up is a big NO! sign. Democrats replaced them because people disliked what the Republicans had been doing; now people dislike still more what Democrats are doing. Part of that is the seeming arrogance: brute force passage of unpopular laws in a we know whats good for you and were going to force it onto you whether youre smart enough to want it or not scenario.
The buyers remorse decimating the Democrats reinforces Republican determination to oppose Obamas policies; even Senator Olympia Snowes well-rounded progressive heels have squared off some. But being the Democrats Party of NO tells voters: We dont have to tell you what were going to do in advance; were the only choice you have. Thats no less arrogant than the Democrats and it assumes a lot. Electing someone for what hes against might bring someone worse, just for different reasons. We just tried that, right? And we might remember that the Bush Republicans
were the biggest spenders on record until Obama took their record away from them. Now theyre against Obamas spending; what do they favor? They dont say. They should be taken on faith? If so, why not hire accountants from lists of convicted embezzlers?
Its easy to see why Republicans are reluctant to commit themselves to more than not being Democrats when the Democrats got in by not being Republicans. But with the dual push of economic pain that started before Obama and the information flooding from the internet more people are realizing that our economic failure is as much a product of Republicans as of Democrats. Thats motivating the groups that want incumbents gone, no matter their party...

The big_R Republicans are busy wringing their hands about the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, J.D. Hayworth and the great unwashed electorate who are almost as angry at the GOP establishment as they are at the Dems.
Too bad the majority won't simply commit themselves to being conservatives.
The Republicans have no identifiable national political leader, a party chairman who raises more questions than money, and a party leadership that positively detests its own base voters. Aside from that, they’re in great shape. It is an index of just how awful Obama has been that the GOP is ahead in the generic congressional polls.
This equally at fault nonsense is pure BS. Obama will have tripled the debt in four years. The Dems have controlled Congress since January 2007. Obamacare, the stimulus, and tons of pork have done much more damage than the 8 years of Bush.
“The big_R Republicans are busy wringing their hands about the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, J.D. Hayworth and the great unwashed electorate who are almost as angry at the GOP establishment as they are at the Dems.”
I am even more disgusted and angry with the GOP than I am with the RAT party.
With the RATs, at least I know through their actions and words that they HATE this country and all that it stands for. They are open and transparent in their contempt for the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the rule of law. They wear their racism on their sleeves and make no apologies for their desire to murder the unborn.
At least the RATS aren’t pissing on our shoes and telling us that it’s only rain.
The establishment GOP?
They are weasels, pansies and not to be trusted. They are worse than the RATs are, due to their arrogance and dishonesty.
Just my opinion.
Whether you hit the oak tree at 120 MPH or 80 MPH, the end result is the same.
Some folks are beginning to figure things out....

Republicans do have a plan and strategy, it just doesn’t get much play in the media. Paul Ryan has good stuff on the budget, for example. Do we hear anything? No, because his proposals actually make sense.
The idea that Republicans do not offer anything is insulting and is playing into the hands of the rats.
“Thats motivating the groups that want incumbents gone, no matter their party...”
I vote yea to this! Clean the Congress and start with fresh conservative blood!
I tell you what.....you get a Republican to come out against Social Security and Medicare and I will vote for them. How’s that?
Where are the Republicans?
They are standing and watching Barry and his crowd dig, dig and dig a deep hole in the swamp land which Washington, DC was built.
It is a mighty big hole.
As they say when someone is digging themselves deeper in the hole, stand back and stay out of the way.
That is how power essentially changes hands in Washington.
The votes that will put the Republicans back in congressional power, will not be votes of confidence by unaffiliated independents, they will be angry votes against Democrats.
Whether the Republicans can do better than they did before they were kicked out of power is an open question.
It would seem they cannot do worse than the Democrats.
But this country NEEDS some leadership and frankly whether either party is to job of leading this country out of the messes that it finds itself is becoming more dubious as each day passes.
On a positive note, I will say Rep Paul Ryan from Wisconsin, understands the fiscal mess as well as any elected official that I have heard.
If Republicans gain power I hope his voice would become louder in anticipation of taking back the WH in 2012.
No Sheeeiitt.
The amnesty should be fought NOW with the horrible job market.
SECURE THE BORDERS AND PUT AMERICANS BACK TO WORK....
then we’ll look at a guest worker program for the illegal aliens.
But the idiot that accelerated to 120 MPH after seeing the results at 80 MPH would be more to blame, especially if that idiot got into office by saying the other party was spending too much.
You remind me of Charlie Brown trying to kick a football.
Was watching BOR for the first time in over a year the other night. Rather than discussing Rome burning to the ground he was more concerned with the horse race like all media. That's what your statement reminds me of.
BOR lost me a very long time ago.
I still hadn’t gone back to see if he’s finally gotten with the program and doubt that he will.
Au contraire. Newton's Second Law--F=MA
Yeah, yeah and KE is still equal to one half MV squared. You’re still dead.
Looks like the Democrat’s allies in the Media are pulling their weight - and then some.
