Palin Has Some Pointed Words for Obama
NEW YORK TIMES - THE CAUCUS ^ | 01 AUGUST 2010 | M. AMEDEO TUMOLILLO

Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska could have chosen courage, boldness, guts or even lion-heartedness as a yardstick to compare the immigration stances of President Obama and Gov. Jan Brewer of Arizona. But the former vice presidential candidate instead went with a much more pointed term on Sunday.

“Jan Brewer has the cojones that our president does not have to look out for all Americans, not just Arizonans, but all Americans in this desire of ours to secure our borders and allow legal immigration to help build this country,” Ms. Palin said on Fox News Sunday.

Please....people who bash Palin do it because they feel she’s not conservative enough. Palin is a good politician, and probably a good person, but she’s just that, a politician; it’s making her into a messiah that people don’t like.

Actually, too many don't like her on the grounds of her open faith in God. The democrats hate her for it; the elite pubbies just despise her for such simplicity. And, she is a pretty darn good politician ... ;^)

It would be interesting if the demand was made by the Left for Sarah to retract her choice of words. I would certainly put the issue of Zer0’s fitness in office on the front burner. That is a issue I doubt the Zer0 Regime would want to visit, unless they are driven by sheer delusions of grandeur. In that case, let the madness continue and the voters will decide . . .

None of this is actually happening. As predicted by our very trustworthy mainstream media, Sarah Palin went into political oblivion when she resigned as Governor of Alaska in July 2009. All reports of her traveling around the country endorsing candidates and wielding heavy political influence are just part of a collective hallucination among her supporters brought on by POD i.e. Palin Oblivion Denial.

I agree..with everything you said.....elite pubbies do not like her....but most people who do not like her here are not elite pubbies, they are people who were disapointed in some of her endorsements.

Those who worship her as a messiah put those elite pubbies and those whose think she’s not conservative enough into one group, which is intellectually dishonest.

“it’s making her into a messiah that people don’t like.”

That dog won’t hunt. Its a diversionary tactic. Its her leadership, views, and political skills at bashing the dems and media that her supporters like and the fact that the rest of the pack have an ostrich/bunker complex.

I’ve seen no posts that equate her with Jesus Christ. You are in danger of being accused of PDS.

“danger of being accused of PDS”

uh-oh....in my mind she’s the best we have right now for 2012, but I’m sorry, I’m not one of those who believe she can do no wrong....if that means I have PDS, then I guess I have PDS.

Future President Palin must be getting coached by Ann Coulter. Watching the interview, I was impressed by her improving speaking skills. And that writing on the hand bit was vintage Ann - a not so subtle “grenade in the room” bast at her detractors. Also, how she handled herself when asked about her “neighbor”.

There is genius in those words and the NYT knows it. Once again, she has cut to core of who this man-child really is.

“..she’s the best we have right now for 2012, but I’m sorry, I’m not one of those who believe she can do no wrong..”

If any of her supporters believe she can do no wrong, they are delusional. Thanks for clarifying your remarks. In light of that you have been cured of PDS for the time being.

When I defended Sarah’s decision to quit the governership, I was accused of being a Palinbot (or Palinista, or Palinstinian... I forget what the buzzword of the moment was).

When I criticized her for saying too much in support of McCain (I know she has to nominally support him; she owes him that, but I thought she went way overboard actually calling him a “good conservative”), I was accused of being a Palin basher.

FR is often no different than any other internet discussion forum... it’s often impossible to just share an opinion without being cast into a pre-defined group.

For what it’s worth, my bottom-line opinion of Palin, after all the praise and criticisms have been made, is that she is not only the best we’ve got for 2012 but I think she’s only a cut or two below RR himself, at least in the quality of her thinking and the integrity of her actions.

I also believe that when it comes to serving as president (as opposed to running for president) she shows every indictation of being right up there with RR, shoulder to shoulder.

If someone says that this opinion of mine means that I am looking at Palin as a messiah, then I will say that someone is a mental defective who is incapable of understanding language, incapable of reason, and incapable of independent thought.
