This isn’t quite a candidate for an “E! True Hollywood Story,” but it is a little of insight into what goes on behind the scenes, and on set, of the show “Saturday Night Live.” Friends, rivalries, relationships – most of it is folklore. However last night on HLN’s “The Joy Behar Show,” Rob Schneider let loose on guest host Shaun Robinson and shared how he really feels about former fellow SNL cast member and writer, and current Democratic Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn.:

ROBINSON: …We`re here talking with Rob Schneider. And just want you to apologize for creating that character. People are still doing that when you`re going to the copy machine.
SCHNEIDER: That was about 19 years ago or something. I had an office at “SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE” that it was — but I was on “SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE” when they had more cast members than audience members. You know it would take them half the show, feature player Adam Sandler, another half feature player David Spade and feature player Rob Schneider and Al Franken, of course, senator Al Franken. What a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) he is.
ROBINSON: Oh, my goodness.

I’ve always liked Rob Schneider and now I know why.
I can’t tell what he calls him, but he doesn’t seem to like him.

Schneider’s copy room guy was hilarious. I think he’s in Adam Sandler’s coterie so he may be conservative.
HAHAHAHA Where was Joy Behar at? LOL!!! Joy must be steaming mad that, that occurred on her show.
I have a good friend who had to work with Franken and introduce him as a speaker at a convention. He completely concurs with Schneidier’s opinion. He’s not just a big fat idiot, he’s an [expletive deleted].

Actually I would use obscene language to describe her, but I don't want to tarnish the image of Free Republic and have Bill O'Reilly trash us with random comments from members, so he can prove he is "fair and balanced".
Even though the Daily Kos crowd uses the most vile language in regards to Republicans, democrat reps wish for the death of Sarah Palin. But, as FReepers we have to stand above it all and prove that we are while we may despise the democrats we don't wish for the deaths of them. But as you well know there is a triple standard when it comes to libs trashing us and us trashing them. We have to be model citizens while they can say the most vile things on planet earth.
But I think it is kosher to call her a yenta. I don’t think Bill O’Reilly can use that as ammo against us, only time will tell.
Victoria Jackson of SNL said that Franken wasn’t liked by most of the SNL actors. She particularly doesn’t like him.
I read a book a while back on the history of Saturday Night Live. Franken comes off as a total jerk.
Could it be that Franken's colossal awfulness alone accounts for so many of his former SNL castmates leaning right?

I have always read that Franken was a prick to everyone he worked with. Just look at his performance as Senator so far. Dumb comments, doodling and napping during hearings, the Rush book. He will get his in the next election.
I am not mad at Al Franken, I am mad at the state that elected Al Franken.
