I would like to say I’m shocked but the only surprise is it took this long for President Obama to call for the continuation of the building freeze on Jewish areas in Judea and Samaria while making no comment on Arab and Muslim building of illegal structures throughout the same area and especially in and around Jerusalem. President Obama has still not made mention of the illegal buildings erected by Arabs, Muslims, and Druze illegal building within the Green Line in uncontested Israel, especially in the Negev where the problem has become endemic lately. The one positive consequence of this move by President Obama is that Prime Minister Netanyahu will know without any doubt what will be the sole subject of the next meeting with President Abbas and that Secretary of State Clinton and Special Envoy Mitchell will be standing astride Abbas in full support against Israel. The only question that remains to be answered is whether the reason behind this forsaking of neutrality is intended to facilitate peace or the more likely obvious desire to place Netanyahu in such a bind that his choices are between being pilloried in world opinion or surrendering to this overt pressure whereby his coalition government will collapse. I suspect that Tzipi Livni and her Kadima members are already printing up campaign posters in case an election is in Israel’s immediate future.
President Obama stated that his reasoning was that the building freeze might have taken a while to get the Palestinian Authority to the talks but now it is necessary to “move forward in a constructive way, so it makes sense to extend that moratorium so long as the talks are moving in a constructive way, because ultimately the way to solve these problems is for the two sides to agree what's going to be Israel, what's going to be the state of Palestine; and if you can get that agreement, then you can start constructing anything that the people of Israel see fit, in undisputed areas.” President Obama also made the point that President Abbas needed to prove he was committed to peace by showing “that you are serious and constructive in these talks.”
Meanwhile, last week the WAFA news agency declared their “deep concern because Israel opened the door to the World Jewish Congress to hold its 14th meeting in occupied Jerusalem (including) the participation of more than 200 representatives of Jewish groups in the world.” The convention was held in western Jerusalem at the David Citadel Hotel, which is well within the Green Line and not an area captured in the Six Day War. WAFA claimed that holding the convention anywhere in Jerusalem was “a blatant defiance of the resolutions of international legitimacy, which considers all Israeli actions in Jerusalem 'invalid and illegal', which emphasizes that Jerusalem is part and parcel of the occupied territory." They further claimed holding of the World Jewish Congress Convention at the David Citadel Hotel to be “a provocation to the feelings of Arab and Islamic nation, and that such a move would confirm that Israel continues to take all necessary measures for control of Jerusalem 'capital' eternal, and an affirmation of the Israeli refusal to reach a just peace that guarantees the Palestinian rights in Jerusalem as the capital of an independent Palestinian state.” So far, there has been no comment on the Palestinian claim to all of Jerusalem and their overt intent to deny Israel any legitimacy anywhere in Jerusalem. When this is considered in conjunction with the numerous calls for the Palestinian State to include all lands from the (Jordan) River to the (Mediterranean) Sea, and the insistence of the “Right of Return” for approximately four million Muslim Arabs to within the Green Line, one sees that no amount of compromise of territory will allow Israel to be considered a Jewish State.
Heading into round two of this incarnation of the Israel – Palestinian peace talks, where do things stand? The Palestinian side still demands the total “Right of Return” for Arabs to Israel while no restitution or rights are extended to the Jews and their decedents who were dispossessed and ejected from their homelands through much of the Arab and Muslim world. The latest Palestinian claim that Israel be banned from even holding conventions for Jewish organizations or causes anywhere in Jerusalem, even West Jerusalem stands unquestioned. The demand by Abbas and Fayyad that Israel extend the building freeze on Jews beyond the Green Line be extended indefinitely while talks continue has now been championed by President Obama, so much for a neutral position for the United States again. No reciprocal position has been even considered on Muslim and Arab illegal building in Jerusalem, the Negev or anywhere else inside the Green Line within Israel. Well, looks like everything is A-OK in the world as all concessions thus far are to be made by Israel with not even the slightest reciprocation asked of the Palestinians beyond showing up and refusing to negotiate in good faith. Honestly, I’m getting really tired of this song and dance. Don’t even bother to ask what my solution would be as that would only have worked during the summer of 1967. Now it is too late. Too many people have stirred the waters into mud for any clean solution to be found.
Gee. A building freeze for the Jews and a Building Permit for the Muzzies on Ground Zero. Nahhh. Hussein Obama is not a Muslim. I must be a Muzziephobe.
A vote for Obama and his minions is a vote for Islam.
I need a history refresher here. Why should we give a flying fark about the Palestinians. Why do we cover them with taxpayer dough? Wouldn’t it be better for them if we divested ourselves of them, cut off their gravy and diplomatic recognition and left them to work it out with the Israelis?
Is it all because they pioneered the terrorist tradition in the late sixties/early seventies by hijacking airplanes and blowing up people? What the hell made them so important?

Well CNN has a Communist Reverend of Social Justice and a Black Imam from Atlanta going nuts about this. The Communists have even infected and infested some churches.
There is absolutely no doubt that Obama is far worse than a Chamberlain; even far worse than a Quisling. He is, in fact, brazenly hostile to America’s interests and those of America’s allies, and is overtly and clearly on the side of our enemies. There was a time in American history when such treasonous behavior would have resulted in his removal.
I hope we get Congress back in American hands in November.

Ain’t going to happen. Sometimes between now and the 2012 elections the Democrats will adopt the slogan,”Vote Democrat or endanger the troops”, or, “Vote Democrat or upset the muslims”. Judging from the comments I read on Free Republic and heard from callers on talk radio shows directed to the man who announced that he was going to burn a quran, the Democrats will win in a landslide.
