Just curious... it seems like quoting Reid as saying that while people are still fighting the war would be a winning strategy.
Anyone know why she's not using it?
Probably because then it will get people taking more about Afghanistan and what a mess it is there now. In reality, though, Afghanistan was going well when Bush left office, in Jan. 2009. But by mentioning Iraq, Angle might be opening a can of worms.
why work up the anti war left. this is a non issue..it is the economy stupid. :)
Probably because the Iraq war is not a winning issue at this point.it sure wasn’t in 2006 and with McCain in 08..despite Harry’s Reid’s inappropriate words.
There are still three weeks to go. That should be one of the last ads: Harry Reid does not support the troops in their mission and declared an early defeat, earning the nickname “Surrender Harry.”
Good question. Why isn’t she using Reid’s comments about smelly tourists etc..?
the issue Repubs will bring up last week of campaign and should is how Harry Reid stuffed trillion dollars of debts and bad bill down our throat even though people were crying for him not to. Selling his miserable and offensive process is her best selling point and other Repubs. Sell the sizzle not the steak.
In fact, Harry fights harder against ordinary Americans than he does against Al Qaeda.
Probably because everyone knows he said it.
Maybe because it may not be true and it would only help the enemy.
Why divert the focus onto anything other than the economy?
The economy is driving this election. Every candidate should be focused on the economy and jobs. Everything else is a distraction.

All she should HAVE to say is “I’m not Harry Reid, and I won’t like him”!!
All she should HAVE to say is “I’m not Harry Reid, and I won’t like him”!!
It can only be a plus, the anti-war left is MAD at Obama (and reid by association) for ~not~ getting out of Afghanistan quickly enough, unless you TOTALLY push it; it can only depress turnout among the left.
Though I wouldn’t push it as a politcal issue for one simple reaons: using it for political gain to me seems like your’re “using the troops” as props in a political game (or at least it would feel that way to me), and I wouldn’t want to do that! Maybe that’s Angle’s logic..
