State Says No to Shariah Law, CAIR Sues

I'm thinking it may be time for those of us who love America and want to preserve it as founded to employ a bit of Cloward and Piven-esque strategy against the enemies of freedom on the left and their like-minded enemies of freedom in the world of Islam. In a moment, I’ll explain.

According to Richard Poe’s essay published on Discover the Networks,

First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.”

Flood the system to collapse it. Well, guess what! Two can play that game.

Back on Election Day, the citizens of Oklahoma voted overwhelmingly in favor of a ballot initiative, State Question 755, which, as stated in part on the ballot says,

“This measure amends the State Constitution. It changes a section that deals with the courts of this state. It would amend Article 7, Section 1. It makes courts rely on federal and state law when deciding cases. It forbids courts from considering or using international law. It forbids courts from considering or using Sharia Law.”

Seventy percent of Oklahoma voters approved the initiative to amend their state constitution to exclude international and Islamic Shariah law, and immediately on the heels of the vote, the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced it will file suit to challenge the will of the voters in Oklahoma. Well, isn’t this just typical of the Islamists?!

The website CapitolBeatOK reports that a big press conference was held at the Capitol by the Oklahoma chapter of CAIR headed by Muneer Awad. Of course the anti-American American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) was also at the press conference, along with the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City and the Central Oklahoma Human Rights Association. Human rights? What do human rights have to do with Shariah Law? But, I digress.

CapitolBeatOK reports,

“… [Muneeer] Awad described the new provision as ‘extremely broad, and extremely offensive.’ He said that adherents of Sharia and Islam are bound by religious duty ‘to respect the law of the land.’

Batchelder, who runs the Peace House in Oklahoma City, said that S.Q. 755 was ‘pointless and anti-Muslim.’ He said the new amendment was ‘foolish.’ Thornton of the ACLU said he was ‘amazed [at] the continuing ability of the Legislature to waste its time.’ He also speculated the new amendment could have a negative impact on economic development. He said, ‘The idea that CAIR would somehow want to promote Sharia law is absurd’”

Absurd? Mr. Thornton apparently doesn’t see how Islamists are working to spread their detestable Shariah law around the world. Maybe he has not heard of the Shariah Index Project, either, which is an organized plan to spread Shariah law worldwide.

Perhaps Mr. Thornton would like to check with Europe and marvel at the “progress” the Islamists have made in the court systems over there! The CapitolBeatOK article continues,

“Sharia law has not been a large issue in this country, but since the 1980s it has been more than an academic question, and a source of increasing controversy, in Great Britain, where the legal system is most like America’s.

In London, on Sept. 14, 2008, both The Times and The Telegraph reported that the British government had sanctioned Sharia courts to rule on Muslim civil cases in that country. The decision sparked widespread controversy among British citizens. Demonstrations in recent months in the British capital city and surrounding jurisdictions found both supporters and critics of Sharia law within Islamic enclaves in the London area.

Sharia law existed to a limited extent in Great Britain after 1982, with the opening of London’s Islamic Sharia Council. Today, there are as many as 85 Sharia courts in Great Britain”

I’m sure back in the ‘70s, someone like Mr. Thornton of the ACLU would have laughed at the idea that the Islamists were “infiltrating” the British court system.

WorldNetDaily reported,

“Critics of the measure argue there's never been a single use of Shariah in Oklahoma, and Islamic leaders have called it ‘fear-mongering.’

The non-profit advocacy group Act for America contributed 250,000 automated telephone calls to voters, warning them of what founder Brigitte Gabriel calls ‘the destructive effects of this radical legal system in Europe.’

Gabriel called Shariah, which stipulates punishments ranging from chopping off the hand of a thief to death for infidelity, ‘is an oppressive, discriminatory law system. It suppresses religion, speech.’

‘We want to make a very strong message (to Muslims), you are welcome to America, pray to whatever god you want to pray to, the Constitution gives you that right, but in America our law is the Constitution,’ she said.

Gabriel said it's imperative for voters to establish that the U.S. Constitution, and no other document, is the controlling law of the land before the U.S. begins looking like the U.K.

‘We are trying to warn Americans to look at what's happening in Europe. If Europe is any preview, we need to make sure we put up the barriers right now,’ she said.”

Now, back to my idea of a little Cloward-Piven action. It’s apparent that the Islamists are trying to sue their way into our legal system. They sue every time they are “offended,” and they will sue when we try to stop the spread of Shariah. So, why don’t we just overwhelm their system? Let every state in the nation—those that have the will to fight against the creeping Islamist invasion—take up legislation like the wise Oklahoma lawmakers did. Even backed by all the Saudi money in the world, the Islamists would have a tough time chasing down all those lawsuits! Overwhelm their ability to keep up with all the barriers we put in place against Shariah law.

I would also call on all states to pursue this strategy in following Arizona’s lead with anti-illegal immigration legislation as well as voter identification legislation to get back the integrity of our elections. Can the Obama administration sue all the states who pass anti-illegal immigration legislation? They would have a hard time taking on all of us.

As for Oklahoma’s anti-Shariah law constitutional amendment, Islamist apologists may be irked by it, but it does not infringe on any Muslim’s freedom of religion. As Ms. Gabriel said, Muslims are free to pray to whatever god they like, but our law of the land is the Constitution and American state laws. Muslims are welcome to come to the United States, but they are not welcome to try to force their degenerate system of laws on our country. We will not allow that to happen. If the Islamists believe that we are pushovers like the Europeans, they have another thing coming.

On Monday, a report came out that a woman judge in Oklahoma has issued a temporary order blocking the state election board from certifying the election results of the ballot initiative on international and Shariah law. There’s another front in the assault against America—the rotten judges who are the enemies within and who side with those who want to overthrow our American system! I’m sick of these self-important judges who are accountable to no one, and who take it upon themselves to overturn the will of the people who, in this case, voted on a legal ballot initiative to simply say that American law is the only law that will be considered in the courts. Who does this lousy judge think she is?!

This is all the more reason to put forth this type of legislation in every state. Between the Islamists who have already gone a long way in infiltrating our government and other institutions, to radical leftist judges who care nothing for our Constitution, we have a long, hard fight on our hands to beat back this creeping Shariah. Never forget that Islam is no ordinary “religion.” It is a militant-political ideology covered in religious garb. It is a cancer on the world, and the time to stop the invasion of Shariah law is now, not after we look just like Europe.

Make no mistake, they will NOT stop until they have either killed or converted all of us. Even the so called moderate muslims are falling in line with this crap.

STFU Muzzies. Go to some other country to play your “I’m all offended” game. No one here gives a crap. Except for a handful of looney college professors. Take them with you.

Somebody needs to counter CAIR and impose financial damages for frivolous suits. They need legal exposure for their support of America’s enemies.

If they are here lawfully, so be it. If they are offended...well, so be it. It’s about time they and others learn that there is no constitutional right to NOT being offended. Be offended all you want. Just remember your right to swing your arms around ends at the tip of my nose.

I still don’t understand why the State doesn’t tell this Inferior Tribunal to go pound sand. My copy of the US Constitution still says: In all cases where a state is a party to the action, the Supreme Court shall have ORIGINAL JURISDICTION. Now just because The court doesn’t wish to follow the constitution, does not mean the STATE has to go along with it. Just force the issue while reading from the Constitution on TV and asking ALL CITIZENS to read along, do this on a daily basis and will end quick with the State victorious or Civil War.

Any American official willing to add this obnoxious Sharia law to our laws should be immediately removed from office, with prejudice.
No Compromise, ever.

“State Says No to Shariah Law, CAIR Sues”

This is a GOOD thing.

The issues raised by the Oklahoma law need to work their way upward through the courts, and do so quickly, all the way to the top.

We need to get this resolved by the Supreme Court while we still have a majority on that Court.

Even more important than the “Sharia” issue is the matter of “international law” insofar as it pertains the decisions of Courts within the United States.

One more “Kagan” on the Court, and what will our chances be?

Could this case become “the new Dred Scott” that leads to a 21st-Century secession?
