WHAT! Willow Palin Acted Like A Kid?!?
The Looking Spoon ^ | 11-17-10 | Jared H. McAndersen

Posted on 11/17/2010 8:50:13 PM PST by The Looking Spoon

Sarah Palin's 16-year-old daughter Willow Palin used multiple homophobic slurs -- including the word f**got -- to attack a Facebook user who criticized her mom's new reality show .... TMZ has learned.

During the premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" Sunday night -- a boy named Tre who went to school with the Palin kids wrote a status update that read, "Sarah Palin's Alaska, is failing so hard right now."

The comment sparked an intense response from Willow -- who replied on the boy's wall, "Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I've seen pictures of, your disgusting ... My sister had a kid and is still hot."

Willow followed up that comment with another that read, "Tre stfu. Your such a f**got."

Bristol Palin also got in on the smacktalk -- writing a message to Tre saying, "You're running your mouth just to talk sh*t."

Eventually, a message board war erupted -- and Bristol took aim at another person named Jon -- saying, "You'll be as successful as my baby daddy, And actually I do work my ass off. I've been a single mom for the last two years."

Read the rest at TMZ

That's it! I'm packin' up my "I ♥ Palin tent and leavin' camp for the Democrats. This is outrageous that a KID would use the word "faggot" while trash talking some jerk who wants to tear her mom down.

I thought we taught kids to be better than that. I thought we moved past such vulgarity since I was her age in the 90's. I thought kids today were too PC with their trash talk.

The gay community has come TOO FAR to put up with this homophobic crap. What Willow should've said was...

Stop Tre, you're such a person exercising your lifestyle choice to love men in a sexual way, and that's your choice, but I'm going to use that fact about you to put you down without your permission now. Ok, time out...I need to catch my breath...

You would never see "progressive" liberals engage in THAT kind of hate speech....no sir!

Here's a picture of liberals wearing an EXTREMELY offensive and profane shirt about Sarah Palin, don't click if you think you'll be offended.

I can't tell...is that shirt moral high ground or a sink hole?

Ok, look, the bottom line is Willow and Bristol should've been above all of this for the sake of their mother. They weren't, they're kids, and at least they're more mature than the monkeys linked above. So liberals like can go ahead and spare us the sanctimony on this one.

What gets me about the exchange is that Tre, while being dead wrong about his assessment of the show (although if that was his personal view, he’s certainly entitled to it), wasn’t crude, or personally offensive.

It was simply a harsh comment about his personal opinion of a show.

I understand attacking the media for blowing this up publicly. But I don’t see why people here are attacking Tre for expressing his opinion, much less those people suggesting he might actually be gay. Willow didn’t seem to mean he was really gay, and he just expressed his opinion.

Of course, Bristol is 20, is a mother, is out on her own I presume, she has a job of sorts, and should be judged by her own actions. Sarah Palin is not responsible for the actions of her 20-year-old daughter.

Bristol in fact should be careful. She’s an adult, and shouldn’t be attacking and swearing at a minor.

My two teenagers don’t post stuff like that. We monitor their facebook, and would take their computers away if they started to attack others with foul language.

And when I was a child, I didn’t use language like that, at least not and get away with it. I had my mouth washed out with soap. And certainly by the time I was 16, I knew better.

Now, it is true that there are plenty of kids for whom this is normal language. I’m dealing with my 14-year-old now about the guys on XBOX live, playing the game he’s playing (which has audio connections) who are swearing all the time. And my other teen quit the game because she couldn’t stand the language, so I think you can raise children to not accept foul language as a standard form of communication.

Bristol is 20 now, but I believe Willow is still 16.

But while Bristol should have wised up, it’s not Sarah Palin’s job anymore to police her adult daughter.

Willow, on the other hand, is still a child, and could well be parented into better action.

Bristol has apologized, so I think she gets it.

This happening is probably why politicians figure it is wise to keep the minor kids out of the limelight.

The problem here was the TV Show. That is what set Willow off.

As for Bristol, if she is 21, there isn’t much Palin can do about it. It would be nice if she would remember the stakes are high and people will be watching her every move.

Sad but true.

Bristol is 20 years old, and is appearing nationally on network TV.

It’s hard to argue that she should be left alone.

Of course, Willow was also on national TV more than once already, but as she is 16, they should still be treating her with some deference.

However, once you are a national cable broadcast show which highlights your personal life, it’s really hard to get upset when people pay attention to your personal life.

I would say that we don’t see many posts with STFU, and we also see way too many posts with STFU.

According to the article, the other teen (who I presume is also a minor, and therefore should I guess deserve the same "slack" as given to the Palin teen), said THIS:

"Sarah Palin's Alaska, is failing so hard right now."

And your response is:

I would curse out anyone who trashed my family that way.

Really? You'd put on a national cable television show, and call anybody who said they didn't like it a faggot, and tell them to STFU? You think not liking the show is "trashing the family"?

It's a reality show about the Palin Family. That doesn't mean that anybody who doesn't like it is "trashing" the family.

There is a piece of information that may be missing from this whole story, which might make it less of a bad thing.

I know that sometimes my kids get into trash-talking with their close friends, and if viewed from the outside, it might look like they hate each other.

What if Tre is actually a friend of the family, and was just being trash-talking? And what if Willow and Bristol where then just trash-talking him back? Sure, they still have the problem of curse words and the fact that it isn’t really private, and Bristol still has apologized, but maybe they weren’t really going after the kid for having an opinion.

OK, on the other hand, Willow did explicitly say that she didn’t know who it was, so maybe that’s not such a good theory.

And for the record, my kids don’t trash-talk their friends this way, and when anything like this happens in my presence, I tell all the kids to shut it down (and yes, I hang out a lot with the teen friends of my kids, playing video games with the boys, participating occasionally in discussions, and I drive them to theme parks and stuff, so I try to be very active and in touch with my kids lives.)

At least Bristol had the common sense to know what she said was wrong, and to apologize. Sorry that some people here don’t seem to have the sense of right and wrong of a 20-year-old.

Sarah Palin has been in the public eye for quite awhile now. If she and
Todd haven’t schooled their children about the proper way to conduct themselves, then I question her competence. Again, if this were the child if a serious Demicrstic presidential contender, you’d be all over the parent, and you know it. Just be consistent.

"Tre stfu. Your such a f**got."

Using language like that is wrong and should be condemned.

It's "you're"

The Palin daughters posted what they did of their own volition. Sure though anyone can see how ‘your mom's show is failing’ would prompt even a nun to retaliate with a profane tirade of insults.

Not to mention all the BS this family has had to endure over the last two years! The RINO critics on this thread would have endured 1/20th of the political assault this woman and her family have dealt with.

Why don't you get into a time machine,go back to being 19 years old, and see if you and your family can deal with the political assault this family has for the last two years.

I'd be a little enraged too if half the country was watching every step you make, in the hopes that you failed. Don't give me examples of the past, this is unlike ANY political assault.

I agree she acted like a kid, I do expect the Palins to act like parents. If they view their daughter cursing on line as excusable, I am disappointed.
