The Palin Factor: Even Republican Elites Don't Get It
American Thinker ^ | 11-26-10 | Lance Fairchok

We all know the left hate Sarah Palin with a passion surpassed only by their loathing for Rush Limbaugh. The list of leftist political, media, and cultural figures who have insulted, smeared, misrepresented, and concocted hit jobs against her is long and varied. With predictable hypocrisy and lack of human decency, they also went after her children, a new trendsetting low for the talking heads America is rapidly coming to despise.

The way I see it if they hate her so much she has got to be the antidote to them. Antivenom to the Communist Poison?

You would think The American People would be on to the Alinsky tactics by the Left of Constantly Ridiculing all People with traditional American Values.
I am glad to see Sarah Palin Fighting Back,if more of the Feckless Cowards on the right would throw the Legions of Staements of the Clown in the White House back at him that are totally ignored this Veil of Intelligence they throw over that Buffoon would be exposed

My family was over for Thanksgiving yesterday. My parents were some of the first to buy her boo and even stood in line to get it autographed when she came to town.

But these were some of their quotes yesterday: “I am really getting tired of her.... She talks like a simpleton..... I don’t think she knows any issue in depth.... (during clips of Reagan’s speeches on Fox news) She certainly is no Ronald Reagan.... Did you ever notice that every sentence of hers is laced with the word ‘I’?” He ended the conversation by sticking his finger in his mouth making the gagging gesture.

Labash throws quite a number of petty hits at Palin, ridiculing her folksy language, her rural underpinnings, and her lack of "gravitas" in the context of her hit TV show.

Makes perfect sense when one considers that Palin plays to the small town and rural crowd almost exclusively.

If she wants to attract urban conservatives and independents, she needs to hire a coach who can help her soften the rural elements of her personal presentation and accent a more measured and deliberate way of speaking.

I love her Will Rogers-like style, but if she wants broad national appeal, she is going to have to personally address those who are different from her (i.e. non-rural).

The left and the elite will always telegraph whom they fear most.

Right! It’s a cute little tale, but it won’t work here.

My point is that her schtick is getting a little tiring. And she needs to get some depth.

Alex Trebeck to Barack Obama:

“Mr. President, you’re in hole behind our other two contestants so you’ll get the opportunity to go first in Double Jeopardy!”

Obama to himself (sans teleprompter):

“I am what jeopardy has been waiting for.”

Karl Rove and Dick Armey are Beltway types who are more interested in what's good for them than what's good for the GOP or the country. Besides, if Palin ever becomes President, the good old boys will be on the outside looking in (at least for four years).

What shocks me much more are delusional FReepers who hate Sarah Palin much more than they hate Barack Obama. Their lives seem to center around finding Palin posts and trashing her.

I very much like Sarah because I believe she is honest, straight forward, and most importantly not corruptible.

Having said this, unless she adds some ‘Gravitas’ to her public persona, she will not be a viable Presidential candidate.
It must be remembered that not only does she, or anyone like her, have to overcome not only the CommieCrates/RINO worms, but also the corrupted GOP elites that infest Washington DC and most GOP Leadership positions.

As people watch the train-wreck that is the Obama administration unfold, they are beginning to realize just how much the press, the politicians and their government has lied to them. And we've also come to realize the roll that RINOism has played in electing Obama in the first place.

Reagan spent decades adding gravitas to his resume before being elected president.

He also endorsed two RINOs in the meantime before he could win the nomination.

In 1968 he debated Bobby Kennedy and whooped his ass. Kennedy was Attorney General and New York Senator. Yet Reagan won it. I can’t see Sarah Palin debating an Eric Holder or Hillary Clinton and winning.

Read her policy papers. Read her books. Watch her Facebook. These are all more complete and comprehensive than ANY other potential leader for the right side.

Her response to the ridiculous sniping against her slip of the tongue Completely savages the mainstream media as well as Obama. It is also done with humor. Humor is her ultimate weapon.
