Obama Gets Tongue-Tied on the Word “Superfluous” in Speech to Kennedy Center Honorees – Video

Here is video of President Obama having trouble with the word “superfluous” as he spoke to a group of Kennedy Center Honorees. Notice he also read his script/teleprompter wrong as he began that sentence. He first read the quote as, “Too many people,” but corrected it with, “To many people…..” I could not see a teleprompter in the shot, but there could have been one in the back of the room.

Barry’s goof’s do show up but not for long. They don’t bring it up as often as they do Sarah. But then she doesn’t make all that many. Who can’t read off a teleprompter and still get it wrong?

soo-pur-floo-uh s

I think he almost had it right the first time. What was the point he was trying to make again? No one else will remember either.

I think the clapping was superfluous.

Meh... It was an extra word that really didn’t need to be there anyway. ;-)

Usually I have a great idea for a post, and some FReeper beats me to it. My turn.
